Beautiful winery just off of the Blue Ridge Parkway. The wine is great, good food and pet friendly. I've visited here twice and have been impressed both times.

Their wines are surprisingly good. Highly recommend doing a tasting. Then order some lunch. If you're visiting on the weekend, hang around and enjoy the entertainment. Plus, they are dog friendly. If you have a well-behaved pup, bring them along.

Our family just had a weekend wedding at Villa Appalaccia, and it was an incredibly good experience. We'd been to the Winery before, but this just made us want to come back, and we live 4 hours away. They worked with the bridal couple in every possible way, provided great wines, helped us with the beer on the kids' own ABC license, and did almost all of the setup and takedown - minimal work for the family - we just had fun and more fun. The bridal couple is vegan and vegetarian, and they totally accommodated that. Additionally, they set the bridal couple up in their Blue Summit AirB&B for lodging and for a rehearsal dinner - totally different from the wedding reception dinner, and all was delicious and the best we could have hoped for. This is our last child to get married, so we've had experiences with different venues and in different states, but this was as good or better than any. Superb in all ways, and I would highly recommend them as an event venue and simply as a great winery - my wife and I think their wines are some of the best, and we've done wine tastings all over the US, Europe, South America and Australia - Check them out

Great ambiance with wonderful staff. Small inside for a rainy day but will return for future tastings and to try to good looking menu.

The owners are very kind and really take their time during your wine tasting. I tasted 8 - 9 wines for $10, which is reasonable. So yummy, I brought home two bottles and will likely go back before we head back toward Raleigh. They also serve food, and on the weekends pizza from their pizza oven. We went on a Friday so it wasn't up and running.

Very nice winery and restaurant, owners were so nice and talkative. The grapes grown for the wine actually originated from Italy! With the summer breeze overlooking Tuscan Italian style architecture, rolling hills, and gardens it was such a beautiful and tranquil place to eat lunch. Oh and the dogs were a plus!

Not a bad place but it does need some landscaping and some up keeping especially where life music is held. Overall, wines were good but sadly what was better was the sandwiches!! I will come back and give it another try as I always do because service and other factors change from person to person.

Had a great group experience on May 4. Wonderful meal (salad, brick oven pizza, pasta with salmon, chocolate mousse cake) coupled with tasting of eight savory wines. Staff very welcoming and attentive and obviously love what they do! Thanks.

Tasty charcuterie and wines, beautiful views, and excellent service- can’t beat it! Peaceful spot to relax and enjoy, and dog-friendly as well. Can’t wait to go back!
