First time customer and I am impressed. I needed my Hummer inspected before the holiday weekend so I called and explained my situation; they told me to have it there when they opened Friday morning, which I did.Very polite and professional when I arrived and they did exactly as promised; I am 100% satisfied and I highly recommend them.

Love this place! Russell and Ken are the nicest people you'll ever meet. They are fair and fast. Do not take your car anywhere else. This is the best mechanic shop in Lynchburg!

These guys had been wonderful until Russell lost the key I left with them and was very rude when I requested they rekey only driver door and ignition switch since someone appeared to have taken the key from their front desk and they were unable to retrieve. Ken has always been outstanding and great customer service. However Russell, who I believe is the owner (?) fought this for about two weeks before finally having 7 Hills come and rekey the two cylinders. This ruined my experience with First Choice as he was so condescending and unwilling to make it right. He went on and on about how none of his customers are convicts and that I should not be so worried about it and he would just cut a new key. Aside from the fact he has cameras all over his garage so obviously does not feel that way for his own things, I was not pleased with someone else having a key to my vehicle like that. He eventually obliged but remained super rude. Again, good prices and Ken is wonderful but this experience was a real disappointment and I would not recommend only because of this.

Great auto care service. Got my car inspection done and they’re quick and efficient. They’re also honest about the work that needs to be done and won’t try to sell you something unnecessary.

My daughter is away at college 2 hrs from home and her check engine light came on. First Choice Automotive was recommended by a guy at Advance Auto Parts, so my daughter dropped off her car with Ken (the owner). He called me with the bad news that the engine needed to be replaced and recommended I take it to a dealership. He was honest and professional and is highly recommended in the Lynchburg area. I spoke to an older man who had been taking his cars to Ken for 25 years. He doesn’t fix what isn’t broken and calls before he actually does the work to explain everything. I can’t recommend him enough!

First Choice could not find the parts needed to fix my van, so they made them. If you are looking for a shop that knows how to get the job done and treats you like family, this is the place. I have been going there for years and have never been disappointed.
