The pickup grocery employees have great costumer service skills and attitude, whoever hires them... kudos to picking great friendly people. We encounter CJ frequently, he is an asset to the store!

When in to grab some groceries when I went to check out they had one full service Lane open that was backed up tried to do the self check out every time I rang something up it came up that somebody needs to approve it and it was just regular groceries and after they keep approving it none of the items were in so I would have had to start all over again they're just as bad as Walmart they have self-checkout with only one full-service Lane that's backed. I want to get paid if I got to do their job this is ridiculous it should be illegal for me to have to work in their store am I covered by their workers compensation. If this is what technology is bringing you can stick it

My wife and I ordered a custom children's cake for our son, who is turning three years old. Our son had only asked for one thing: a monster truck cake. We placed the custom cake order four days in advance and received confirmation for pickup on the agreed upon date. When my wife went to Forest Kroger to pick up the cake, she was told that despite the confirmation having the correct date, the bakery team had placed the order on the sheet for the next day, which would have been the day after our son's birthday party. When my wife asked what she could do, the bakery staff said that their cake person was not in and the order was not slated for fulfillment until the next day, despite the order confirmation contradiction. My wife was dismissed by the bakery worker and offered no further assistance.
While we had not yet paid for the order, our order was completely ignored, no notice was given about the change in pickup date, and no alternatives were offered for obtaining a birthday cake for our three year old. The dismissive and unconcerned behavior of the bakery staff has ensured that we will not be using the Kroger bakery in the future.

We don't usually shop here, so it took longer than we would've liked to find everything. Having said that though, we did find what we were looking for and were satisfied with the prices.

Stepping into the Kroger on Forest Road is always a refreshing experience, particularly highlighted by their fantastic deals on beverages, as seen in the vivid, eye-catching display I encountered on my last visit. The "Buy 2, Get 3 Free" sale on favorites like Diet Coke and Sprite is unbeatable, and it's a testament to the value that this store provides to its customers. The neatly stacked cans, with their bold colors, reflect the store’s commitment to quality and organization, ensuring that shoppers can easily find what they need. Kroger's attentive staff adds to the pleasant shopping experience, always ensuring that promotions are well-advertised and stock is plentiful. It's these thoughtful touches that make Kroger on Forest Road a standout for grocery shopping, where good deals and great service are always in abundance.

Pharmacist, Ann, was very helpful in getting a prescription filled for my wife. The cashier at the register in the store, Nathan, was quick and efficient in scanning and bagging my groceries.

The Forest Kroger is ok.... but needs to be better. There are tons of expired products in this store being sold and the dates are not always visible. The staff are very rude and inconsiderate. My wife told me while shopping in produce, a dude with pins on his shirt bumped her cart with his trolley and didnt even say sorry to her. His name tag said Daniel. He blocked her way for about 30 secs too. Never offered to apologize to her. She saw him standing around chatting and she said he came off as a smart aleck. Daniel definitely needs lessons on how to deal with the public. At the checkouts, my wife told me nobody greeted her and treated her in a very unfriendly manner. We dont have to shop at Kroger... we can take our business elsewhere where we are appreciated

Avoid their dairy section! Purchased dairy products during the last 2 weeks which have been bad, but within the sale by date from this store. Cheese was moldy when we opened the package the same day. Milk was bad despite being under 5 days of the labeled sell by date, Choose dairy products elsewhere.

2/16/24 6pm I walked in the store that smells like rotten meat. I couldn't buy meat or fried chicken from that store. Would also tell you the chicken has chicken feathers on it that is cooked without it being pulled off and the chicken is overcooked at times.
