Fantastic shop, did an outstanding job. After another local place (Larry's) told us my sons vehicle needed an entire new engine - Lacks took the time to actually look at the vehicle and turns out it was just a PVC valve. Being out of town it was a great relief to find someone that's honest and doesn't take advantage of you. Treated us like family - this is THE place to go for your mechanic needs in the area! I would give them 6 stars if i could!

Overcharged on parts when replacing Ford Fusion battery. Asked for a good battery (ex. 650 CCA, AutoZone has them for $220). Wife took car in. Came back with low end OE 390 CCA battery and charged $301.71 for battery. Same OE 390 CCA battery at Ford parts for $192.95. Cheaper at the dealer? Really? A small parts markup would be understandable. Paying 50% more for a lesser CCA battery is unacceptable. Long time customer now a long gone customer.

Great auto service here! The front window staff were friendly, they communicated well through the whole process. My car had a shimmy at high speed and they did diagnostics for a great price!
They gave me tire options and did an alignment and it took care of the problem right away.
Their price was really good!
Highly recommend.
Just a heads-up before you go, they take cash and check. If you use a card you'll pay 4% extra on the total.

Highly, HIGHLY recommend Lacks Auto. They came recommended to be by Harris Tire, and I genuinely could not have asked for a better experience. They are kind, considerate and fair. If you need work done on your car, this is the place to go!

Dropped off a block for work with the pistons and rings. And they misplaced my piston rings. And to this day have never gotten them. Won't be using Lacks anymore!
