“Visited Maranatha Farms for my first time last week. I was preparing a special dinner and bought the best racks of lamb I’ve ever had. Also bought fresh picked green beans and potatoes. Normally, I don’t have much to say about potatoes (who does?). Yet, these tender fresh potatoes were almost as worth the drive (40 miles round trip) as the lamb.
I will now consider this a regular destination. These are good people offering a wonderful and healthy farm to table (rare) opportunity in our area.”

“It’s exhilarating to have local access to fresh seafood. As someone who lived on the coast and was pescatarian - I recommend Marsh Roots Seafood if you’re looking for items fresh from the ocean. Also, they have local greens that are phenomenal as well as some premade dips. If you love oysters - try Salty Kiss - if they are available. They are from the coast of VA and have the most amazing flavor. The Greentail shrimp are what I lived on when I resided in OBX, and will elevate any shrimp dish. Each person I’ve had help me has been professional and accommodating. Never a bad experience with Marsh Roots Seafood. Thank you for bringing the ocean to the Lynchburg area.”
