Great Store, Even Better Staff (Shoutout Jennifer)
Visited yesterday (9/1/25) and just wanted to take the time to recognize one of the staff members, Jennifer. She was incredibly helpful, kind, funny and personable and really made our visit pleasant. It's rare thing to have such great interactions with staff at a store and Jennifer really stood out to us from start to finish going above and beyond. Homesense is lucky to have her! Thanks again!

Went in to buy a standing mirror, one of the employees (black male with dreads -I didn’t see a name tag so have to go by descriptions) showed such terrible attitude like I don’t know maybe he thought we’re gonna take the mirror and run out or whatever lol
Anyways, very rude and terrible attitude, not what you expect when your shopping at a store like this.
Long story short, the mirror had a dent and a scratch on the front of the frame and the other guy (perhaps asian) at the back said take it to the front they will discount it by 10%. When we took it all the way to the front the black guy first said I don’t see anything wrong with this!! And then when I pointed it out and he saw it was very bad he said I’ll only do 5% markdown which was ridiculous.
Buying at a store you expect an item to be in new condition and free of any visible damage. This guy obviously thinks otherwise and has no respect for customers.
Corporate (regional manager) should really look into this kind of practice and behavior.
The store had a lot of paintings and mirrors as well as frames that were damaged in display due to mishandling and this doesn’t include the ones that were already marked down due to damage!
I feel they don’t really care about inventory and customers aren’t important at all…

If you go in and out and just work with the sales associates- you’ll be fine. To be fair- nice item selections and the sales associates are helpful and kind. HOWEVER, the moment you have to deal with any type of management here - you’ll be very disappointed and frustrated, based on my experience. I was deeply disappointed with management’s practices and behavior.
In conclusion, I won’t be shopping there anymore. They have already in soo many ways shown me as a customer that I’m not valued there.

I love this store! They have a lot of great prices. The customer service is impeccable and the team is responsive. I went there 3 times in two days 😂. I was supported by Nelson, Stephaun, Norman, and Fatima. They were really patient, friendly and customer focused. 10/10 recommend

Very frustrating experience. I have been looking for a specific chair and called 10 stores before I found it. 2 hour away from my house. I called to let them know we’d be picking it up but GPS was showing 9:35 and they close at 9:30. Manager said she couldn’t wait for us bc she would have to for everyone. I get that, and said okay. My husband was determined to get there before 9:30. We pull up and try the doors at 9:28. Already locked. Seems if they knew we were already pressed for time and rushing to get there they would at least keep the doors opened until their scheduled close time. A lot of emotion here bc I’ve been searching for this chair everywhere. Just hoped for more humanity.

I went into this Homesense expecting to spend 10-15 minutes inside, however I found a beautiful cabinet that I could not leave without.
Stephaun provided great customer service throughout the entire transaction - from helping me put the item on hold until I could pick it up with a larger vehicle to communicating with the employees at the register when purchasing. Thank you for your help!

I just went there and I was so excited! Reasonably priced and many different options from kitchenware, bath, home decor, bedroom, and small knickknacks that I found personable! I will be coming back!

Found a great Bassett Furniture coffee table here last week. Discontinued model, but it works for us. It's large, heavy, solidly built, and perfect for entertaining or dinner in front of the TV. Bassett price, $899. Homesense price, $179!
