Franklin is the worst area to shop in, and it's getting worse. This walmart seems to be in the middle of a remodel of sorts. Apparently that also means reinventing their rules. Went in after work today to be told self checkout is now limited to 15 items, even though I have purchased roughly 25-30 on more than one occasion. It would be arguably fine if they had more than 2 cashiers operating the front registers. Beyond that, this location has (without fail) had at least 2 common items on my lists out of stock for weeks when I shop here. Never the same item, but something is always out of stock.
Main st in Suffolk is not even this bad.
Edited to add: Yes, I wrote this while standing in the extravagantly long line. And to boot, was told I'd be the last person checking out on this register, yet I don't see any others opening. They'll be down to one cashier .

Franklin has made shopping so much nicer. They had made the isles and moving around in the store so much easier. It's cleaner and the atmosphere is so much better.

This Walmart is a joke just left a cart full because the idiots can't check you out you are limited to self checkout to 15 items and the idiots only open 2 registers for only to end up checking you out in self checkout ????????put the cart full back on the shelf's I'll shop in Suffolk

If I could give a negative score I would. This was the worst experience I’ve experienced in any store. The manager in training was very unprofessional and confrontational. We waited at customer service for over 30 minutes, the clerk was helping in another department. I had to call the store and request a manager. Another manager in training came along with Miss Unprofessional telling me she wasn’t going to assist the other trainee once again refusing us service. I got the refund instead of the exchange I was planning. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS STORE! Stay away!

Excited for the self checkout lanes to be shut down, having more than 2 aisles open per store would be a little more appropriate for a trillion dollar corporation.

I didn't get her name but the girl in apparel was the nicest person I met in Virginia, LITERALLY!! (I just moved here) She had a pale complexion and black hair. Her personality was adorable! And she went above and beyond regular customer service standards! Without me asking if she worked there, she went up to me. I never had that happened tbh. And she helped me tremendously! This girl, I hope God blesses you with so much joy, peace, confidence and maybe financially! You truly made my day! ❤️ Thank you for being you! ?

The lady at the pharmacy was very helpful, definitely very experienced, saved me big time, I believe her name was Alyssa, might’ve spelled her name wrong
