100% would recommend this hair salon. My sister and I were really looking into getting our hair done but were very skeptical about trying out a new place. We were debating on going somewhere local or to a place in Richmond. We decided to go here and it was the best decision we made. The ladies were very kind and professional. I am very particular when it comes to my hair, and Sabine did a fenomenal job! My braids looked just how I asked. So glad to find a place close that does quality work. They will definitely be getting my business again!

Theresa and Dee did an AMAZING job! (Not sure if I spelled the names correctly)
They were very sweet, and made sure that everything was how I wanted it down to the detail. They were very professional, and personable! I'll definitely be back to do business with them again!
For those wondering, I got knotless braids shmedium (small-medium) size. The color was band blended of 2 colors I picked.

Stylist was late after I was told to show up at 6 am the day before. Less than two days after my faux locks were installed, they started to unravel and come out. But the evening 6 had completely come out. I had to work the next days and when I called to complain I was told to come in to get them fixed. I would’ve had. I problem doing that if I wasn’t working (12 hr shifts). Very disappointing for the money to have gone to waste. I ended up taking them out at home because I wasn’t walking around with half a head of undone locs

I have used this shop on several occasions and never had any issues. This last visit I left extremely disappointed. I was given one quote over the phone and when I arrived, the price almost doubled. I was given the incorrect color of braiding hair and I wasn’t made aware of this until she was halfway done braiding my hair. The length was not the length I had asked for after telling her several times the length that I wanted. I’ve had my hair braided for almost 3 weeks now and have had 4 braids fall out. I can’t say that I’ll ever come back here again. I left completely disappointed, and they only took $20 off the price.

Crochet braids the took down wash and fresh install... Since I was 15 been going to Ms Emma very grateful when I return from out of town and need my hair done she is still there!!!

While the shop has some few good braider, customer service is vey lacking and unprofessional.
The manger is horrible with pricing. If they think you don’t understand the usual price for something, they will try to up charge and take advantage of your ignorance. So shop around for prices before paying to make sure you are getting a fair price for the type of style you want.

I called the shop in the morning, and they were able to get us in immediately. We were in & out within 2 hours. The quality was great. My baby girl loved it.

I've been taking my wife and daughter to them for close to 14 years. My daughter basically grew up in Ms Emma's chair even my son gets his hair done there. Great atmosphere and they are very professional.
