On Dec13 I went to bed with heat, I woke up with no heat. I go out and look at my tanks...one tank shows empty the other tank shows 80%...why am I out of gas? I schedule a delivery Dec 21. The gas gets delivered...I am not home (had no idea when they were showing up because they gave me a 5 day window). I get a text saying my gas was delivered....I think yay I am good to go, but to my surprise they had locked my tanks because my tanks were empty (again one tank showed 80%). I did not go look at my tanks..why would I...I received the text so I am thinking something is wrong with my boiler. I call a technician to come and look at my boiler. He checked and then went to check on the tanks and saw the note on the tanks saying they were locked so he couldn't do anything. So I call on Dec 26 to make an appointment to have them unlock my tanks..the incompetent folks that answer the phones said my appointment was on Dec 30 8-12 but I received an email saying it was on Tuesday January 2nd. There is no way I would have accepted that date when I was on the phone because I am a school teacher and that was my first day back to work after winter break...so now I had to take off work. I was told I was the first appointment at 8:30 but by 10 still no technician. I started calling trying to get a hold of someone who could actually do something which as you know is impossible because this company doesn't want customers to talk to managers (incompetent workers). The technician FINALLY showed up at noon. He was literally here for 10 min and I received a bill for over 300$ for that ten minutes. The bill states 99$ for dispatch fee 220$ for gas leak check!!!!!!!! When you give a window of 5 days as to when they are going to deliver gas HOW CAN YOU EXPECT FOR THE CUSTOMER TO BE HOME???????????????? so if the customer is not home then they get fined/billed $319 because the technician had to come back. I could understand fining the customer if they said they would be home but they weren't but I had NO IDEA when they were coming to deliver my gas....If I had known, I would have been there.

This company is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. I can NOT talk to anyone that knows anything. I have been given the run around for 30 minutes. Trying to check on a work order. I wish I could talk to someone directly instead of a call center.

Had an issue with delivery. Driver was no help. There is no such thing as a live person you can talk to other than somebody in the Philippines that is just reading from a script and won’t help you -going to be changing my propane service provider as soon as possible to somebody local, where I can actually reach a live person.

Technicians were good, but didn't receive an approximate arrival notification. Refilling process could be improved by adding steps to check for leaks everytime tanks are topped off. I don't know how much money was lost do to leaks not being detected.

I submitted a form online to get started with a tank rental. It took them a week to get back to me after I had to call multiple times. They were quick to take my money for the site inspection but slow to schedule it. After the inspection, no one contacted me regarding scheduling any work or the tank delivery. I called to schedule it for 11-2 arrival window on tuesday. After sitting in my empty home which isn't cleared for occupancy yet for 4 hours, they finally called at 2:40 to tell me they werent coming. I asked for a call from a manager, and no one ever called. They sent someone today to deliver the tanks on his day off, and the inspector never even told him we needed extra piping so it was all for nothing. I will see if they give me my refund for the inspection since I need to pay someone else to do it now. Don't go with this company, they have no organization and dont care about their customers.

I have ALWAYS had good service from AmeriGas! Have been with them for ions. My home appliances are all gas, so I rely on them a lot. I have had very few problems in the past and when I did, service was excellent.

They know why…. Gave me different prices, didn’t even know if equipment belonged to them and couldn’t get me someone who spoke English better etc.!!! Then completed my pre screen w soft pull of credit and gave me so far from true fico wasn’t even remotely close to customer service but I’m gladly moving to a place that doesn’t require propane so I won’t have to deal w them anymore!!!

I’m certain you’re familiar with the difficulties getting through to Amerigas on the phone. After getting through, I was not given the entire cost of my request. Again, I’m sure this is Amerigas’s motive.

Worse Propane service I have every used in my life, they do not even answer the phone anymore just goes to a call center in India or somewhere like that, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR SERVICE FIND SOMEONE ELSE. Can not get simple answers to questions, YOU HAVE TO DRIVE TO THERE OFFICE JUST TO GET SIMPLE ANSWERS THEY NEED TO BE SUED.

Absolutely the worst gas company I've dealt with having lived in multiple states. Avoid Amerigas at all cost! I purchased propane with the pre-buy program for 300 gallons since I used 286 gallons every year for the last two years. I received a past due notice stating that I was $327 past due for 'Other adjustments' and that I had already used up my 300 gallons (over the last month)--physically IMPOSSIBLE since I only have two 120 gallon tanks. Any type of resolution will take you days so don't use Amerigas to begin with.

Worst company ever ..... do not have a business with them at all ...horrible experience I was dealing with them past over a year almost they have the worst management and customer service on top they can take your money with out even knowing you I had a situation where I paid for the gas delivery up front there technical arrived and the location with out filling the tank he claimed that he added 110 gallons when I had 58% available gas in the tanks he billed me for never leave a yellow slip then I realized the tank gauge was not showing the correct percentage after a fill up I called they send a technician out for investigation he confirmed everything is up to the point and on top of everything the billed me 319$ for that visit but after confirming by the tec no problem solved talking to them many time but they were trying to ignor the situation I don't know for how long them were doing this to me and to other customers...no supervisors were helping no solution worst experience ever don't ever deal with them ...... it's a legal matter so I need to find a legal advisor to solve this issue...........

Amerigas wouldn't give me a refund or a portion of the amount currently in my account, over $1212.00. Yet they want me to continue with the Convenience Pay when there is already enough money in the account to pay for a refill. So, to get this off my mind, I ordered a refill for my propane. Not a a way to run a business.
