Braehead Farm is a full operating farm open to the public daily, year round. It is a great family friendly location and a real hidden gem within the city limits. Visitors can enjoy pick-your-own produce and pumpkins, watch and feed rescued farm animals, and explore features like a playground, hay rides, and a corn maze. There is a farm market for autumn goodies and a lunch kitchen, though the food is considered just okay. The farm is pet friendly with kind staff. Some areas like the playground and special festivals have a cost, but visiting the fields is free with payment only for what you pick. It is a decently priced destination where families have a great time.
Fun and inexpensive way to spend an evening with the family. When we went, they had: blueberries, strawberries, and various kinds of raspberries. They also had several kinds of vegetables. Charming farm shop with locally sourced organic products. Playground for kids. Everything is reasonably priced.

It's a working farm. A lot of different pens for various farm animals. A lot of toys and swing sets for kids. We went to see Santa. Open fire pits to roast marshmallows. A lot of bite size pies to try for free. There was a $16 charge to get in but the kids loved it and it will always be a good memory for them.
