Seems to be a nice place. My husband works there and really likes it. Says the environment is good and people are nice.

I booked a freight pickup for my business today Friday March 14th. They said my 1 pallet would be picked up between 2 & 4 PM. Since our business is in the basement of a building. We moved all 8 boxes weighing 70 lbs each upstairs and outside on a pallet in front of the building. I called the at 4:30 when no one had shown. They told me someone had come and saw no one . So they left. No phone calls to me at all saying this..That made me suspicious. I had a worker out there the whole time. Attached is a picture of the freight out on the sidewalk in front of my business. It was outside for almost 4 hours. When I pressed Central Transport customer service on this they admitted no one had come at all. They said it will have to be Monday for a pick up. I cancelled and am taking my business elsewhere. A complete waste of my time as well as my employees time. Awful experience!

Poor customer service. I had an item shipped to the Fredericksburg warehouse. I got confirmation it arrived on a Friday morning. I then tried to pick it up and was told "you are going to need to come on Monday because it's still on a truck". Monday the pick up goes smoothly. Today Friday (4days later) I try to send back the core part on the exact same pallet, with the exact same packaging, at the exact same location with a prepaid return shipping label. This time I'm told "we will not accept the transmission on a pallet because it could possibly be damaged". What!?!?! I just had a brand new one loaded right off your dock onto my truck 4 days ago and now you are concerned with possibly damaging the used core on the same pallet?

The worse company I have ever seen in my experience .On their website, when getting a quotation, it says 3-5 business day delivery, but once you shipped out, it's going to take more than a month to get your item. Never use this company, and don't waste your time.I have called their customer service 3-4 times and asked where our item says it's pending in our transit and cannot delivered because of lack of employee; I called again and again, but no action has been taken so far. Please don't make any shipment with this company because you will regret it.

Was going to apply for a job here for a driver but with all these horrible reviews it seems like it's not going to happen.

I have been in the warehousing business for close to 2o years and Central Transport is one of, if not the worst LTL companies I have had to deal with. I have been trying to get a pallet of freight returned to us for the past 2 months now and they can not find it. It's just disappeared I guess. I have started asking our vendors to stop shipping with them ASAP.

Poor customer service. 2 out of 3 of every shipment is damaged. Complete trash. The LTL equivalent of Spirit airlines.

Received a call from dispatcher that driver would pick up on Thurs between 1-3pm. Driver no showed and advised his office no one was here for the pick up. Driver then no showed on Friday also. It is now Monday, and still no driver or call from Central Transport, dispatcher, or driver for the pick up.

Re. Fredericksburg location -- I'd give zero stars if I could; are unreliable & locally unreachable: AVOID Central Transport completely unless you like a steady diet of “I’m sorry” whenever you talk with their national Customer Service phone line & national Delivery Appointments phone line when the information they previously told you turns out not to be true – which is all of the time!!! On Saturday June 1, 2019, our shipment of tile arrived at Central Transport’s Fredericksburg location (about 67 miles from us) -- the last leg of their journey from Sunnyvale, Texas where they picked up our tile on 5/28/19 per the Bill of Lading. The shipment arrived on June 1 at 8:07 AM (per Central’s Trace Shipment web page as of 6/1/19 at 10:25 AM). No, it arrived at 1:37 AM (per Central’s Trace Shipment web page as of 6/1/19 at 10:19 PM) – i.e., 2 different times noted for the same shipment & arrival date. Either way, “Estimated Delivery” was supposed to be on Monday June 3. But can’t be Monday because Central Transport is closed on Saturday; so no one at the Fredericksburg location or anywhere else will be calling to schedule for Monday. On 6/3/19 at 8:12 AM, I learned via email from Customer Service that our shipment “is currently pending an appointment” and “you were just transferred over to our appointments team for scheduling.” On 6/3 & 6/4, I also learned from national Customer Service & Delivery Appointments respectively that no one could reach Fredericksburg. It’s a 1-person operation & that person also makes deliveries. So now they added another person at this location. No further word on 6/3/19 as to WHEN we’ll receive our shipment. On June 4, 2019, I called Customer Service & was transferred to the Delivery Appointments Department where I was advised verbally & then via email that “... your delivery for the shipment below is scheduled for tomorrow 6/5 between the hours of 9-3.” SUPER RIGHT? IF ONLY... On 6/5, I waited for our curbside delivery, even sat outside so as to not miss the truck. NO TRUCK; NO PHONE CALL THAT I’M EN ROUTE ETA is.... ZERO! Called Customer Service & Delivery Appointments on 6/5 to ask what’s up & learned that our shipment had been off-loaded to another trucking company called National Delivery Systems & taken to this company’s terminal in Henrico, VA (aka Richmond terminal)! “I’m sorry you didn’t know.” Ah, but what about the email that says I’d receive my shipment today – i.e., ...”your delivery for the shipment below is scheduled for tomorrow 6/5 between the hours of 9-3.” Their reply: the email doesn’t say guaranteed. “I’m sorry.” So now my shipment is no longer 67 miles away; it’s now about 123 miles away. Central Transport added that once National Delivery Systems logs our shipment into their system, they will call me -- probably on 6/6/19 to schedule a date & approximate time to deliver our shipment. Rather than wait, on 6/6/19 I checked National Delivery System’s Tracking page – nothing; so I called National Delivery System’s Henrico location & learned that my shipment isn’t at this location, nor will it arrive at this location because they don’t serve any further north than Stafford, VA. We’re in Reston, VA! Fortunately, the terminal manager at Henrico kindly confirmed for me that National Delivery System’s Columbia, MD. location serves my area, will fetch my shipment from Fredericksburg & deliver it to us no later than the day after it arrives in Columbia, MD. I saw that it was logged into their system in the evening of 6/6. And true to their word, we finally received it on 6/7.
