The absolute worse. Took my equipment into the store as I switched providers and they REFUSED to accept it as I wasn’t an authorized user on the account. It’s in my husbands name which was funny because I’m the one who set it up. When I set up COX in my husbands name we did a 3 way call to have him authorize it. Wasn’t a problem then to help out when I was setting up his (our) account. Then when I had him call to cancel our account OFFICIALLY they wouldn’t do it over the phone. Then out of nowhere COX put through a check unauthorized by us for a payment. I will never ever use them again. Just as bad as X FINITY.. choose someone else if you can!!!

I was having to cancel my account with Cox due to moving.
The process was easy and quick and answered all questions I had as well as being so pleasant
I will be a return customer if and when I need Cox services in the future.

I had an issue with my account and Demetrius was able to resolve everything and got me in and out in 5 minutes.
I’m a home internet and mobile customer and both have been working fine for me.

This is the worst possible communications company. They over sell their capabilities. They lie. The service is literally so slow that I have to go home to upload data through my Verizon internet. I just had a class that had to be cancelled because the internet was down, but they claim they charge the ridiculous amount that they do because they are providing better service than what is provided to residential customers. They trap you in a contract that you can’t get out of without paying the full price of the contract. I’ve never heard of any other company doing that. They know their service is bad. They trap you so that you have to stay stuck with their crappy service. As soon as I can afford to get away from them, I am dumping them. I’d be willing to bet if they told their customers they were released from their contracts, most of them would run as fast as they can. Do yourself a favor, don’t sign with cox. They are overpriced, they over promise, and then you’re stuck. I regret it everyday single day.

Cox offers the most unreliable internet and cable service I've ever experienced. I deal with frequent outages almost every day, and as someone who works from home, the Wi-Fi constantly failing during meetings makes it impossible to do my job properly. Last week, we went without service for four consecutive days, with no explanation or update on when it would be restored. The estimated time listed on their website was completely inaccurate, and now, again this weekend, we have no Wi-Fi or cable. This is beyond frustrating!
Sadly, Cox is the only service provider available in our townhouse complex, so I'm stuck with them for now. If I had the option to switch, I would do so in a heartbeat. Their service is absolutely terrible.

WORST service I’ve ever had. It never works so I pay $60m for nothing. Got a new router twice. they want to charge 75$ to come out to look at something that’s their fault. I wish there was a different company in Fredericksburg!!!!!!!!!

Pitiful, pitiful experience this ISP provides. Living in Fredericksburg, I pay $80/m for Gigabit connection, have never once reached even half that speed, and I experience frequent shut outs nearly daily. As someone who works from home, Cox provides inexcusably poor service that makes it nearly impossible to adequately do so. Switching to verizon immediately.
