This was a great bank until new managenent recently took over. If you are looking for a bank that values personal and business relationships with their customers then I’d recommend not using this bank.

I needed to complete a transaction and the Richmond branch told me it would take 10 days. Grace had it done in 10 minutes…. Thank you for actually taking the time to help me!!

Absolutely disgusting customer service, in my time there I have overdrawn 11 times, even when I requested no overdraft, and some only by a few cents- Grace is rude, and unprofessional , they have put a hold on my money for 5 days because I was overdrawn by 2 days, while in hospital, and cancel your debit card- again Grace is a disgrace, and this bank is not customer oriented.

Extremely bad bank. Grace is the absolute worst. They don't know how to serve their customers, and clearly don't care. I can't reiterate enough how unprofessional Grace is. DO NOT BANK HERE!!!!

I was banking with them for several years. Called to ask about an issue with a pending payment and received attitude and forwarded calls from most of the staff there. Asked to speak to Grace today, and was met with the same demeanor. Not sure if maybe everyone is just under a ton of stress, but doesn’t make me feel good as a customer asking questions. Looking forward to finding a new banking service. Looking for a service that actually works and serves the customer who is entrusting them with their money.

We love the team at FCB! We have been banking with them for 3 years and they provide excellent and friendly service. I love that they greet me by name!

Why is it not possible to do no stars? I agree with another reviewer; just wanted something notarized but the lady was super rude. Used this bank before at a different location, have an account too and never had issues, previous staff was nice but I guess customer service is not a thing anymore. Going elsewhere more reputable from now on.

I have been banking at First Citizens for 12 years and the staff there is like family to me. They are the most friendly, professional, and competent group of people you could ever work with. Not only do I do my personal banking, but I also use them for our business banking as well. We use them for point of sale credit cards transactions, financing, and for general banking. From the tellers, to sales, to management, they have always treated us with respect and provided phenomenal customer service. They even come to my business to pick up deposits and drop off change when necessary to make my life easier. It infuriates me when I read a 1 star review that misrepresents a business that works very hard to provide great service, so I thought I would take the time to write review that truly is representative of my experience with this bank that spans over a decade.

Horrible experience, just needed something notarized, and the short lady with glasses was rude and stated we don't do that with non members. I said ok well how much is it to open an account? And She doesn't know?????? Horrible customer service and I now realize why I bank with other reputable banks! Stay clear of this bank!!
