I rarely leave reviews, but I felt the need to share my experience. I’ve tried to give this salon a fair chance, but after two separate visits, I walked away feeling like I wasn’t welcome—and I can’t help but feel that race may have played a role.
The first time I came in, I was told no one was available, even though there were workers inside and the salon was empty. It felt off, but I let it go.
Today, I went back at 6:35 PM. From my previous visits and what’s listed online ( Apple Maps), they close at 8. One technician was actively working on someone’s nails when I arrived. She greeted me and asked what I needed—I said a fill-in. She looked up at me, paused, and suddenly said, “Oh, we’re done for today,” and refused service. When I asked what time they closed, she said 7, even though the info online and my past experience said otherwise.
To top it off, I called the salon a few minutes later to ask about their hours—and they hung up on me.
It’s hard not to feel like I was being deliberately turned away. Whether it was personal or something deeper, it left a really bad impression. I hope no one else has to leave feeling the way I did.
I really hope I’m wrong.

Racist practices suspected. This business claims to accept walk-ins so I walked in 30 minutes before their advertised opening time as the sign said open. I was met at the door with we are booked, do you have an appt, not do you have an appt first. I said no, but you do take walk-ins right. It’s a Saturday at 8:30 in the morning. The nail tech’s reply was no. She then did not ask if I could return at a specific time, nor could I come back the next day, but could I come back the following Saturday. This was strange. I was the only one there besides a lady being serviced and the other nail tech was just sitting there. I was curious, because the lady who spoke with me behavior seemed odd and indifferent. So, I sat in the parking lot a while as I watched them take the white customers immediately without questions or ask them to take a seat and turned away other black customers. Beware of these types of business. If they advertise walk-ins a dedicated staff member should be available to take walk-ins. However, for this salon it appeared to me, walk-in services weren’t available for people who looked like me. I should start a podcast about this. Businesses that have racist/selective business practices need to be exposed.

This is one of the best nail shops I have come across in the Fxbrg area! The prices are more than fair for the quality and prompt work they do for a pedicure or a manicure, or both! I’ve been seen by just about all the nail techs here, but my favorite is Tammy ❤️— she’s is very kind, polite and professional and helps me to achieve the nail design I’m looking for ?! I have become a regular, and Will remain so for as long as I’m in the area ??
Do you give this place a try if you’re looking for a good nail service for your fingers or feet and be sure to call and get an appointment scheduled because they book up fast ?

I visited on a weekday for a pedicure. The salon was very clean and inviting. My technician did a wonderful job on my service and the cost was reasonable.
