Donation! Went to this location for the first time today to make a donation of nearly new battery powered tools. Around the back, where you drop off donations, there are two large bay/garage doors with a sign that says please press button for assistance. There's also an adjoining sign that says please be patient as we're understaffed. After pressing the button i waited about 5 minutes until a relatively young gentleman opened the bay door. I said that I had a donation to make. He, in turn, tells me that donations are only accepted at bay door #1. I peek inside and tell him that the two bay doors are connected by completely open space. We're not talking about two different, segregated areas! So, I walk over to bay door #1 to wait for it to open. After another 5 minute wait...nothing. So I drove around the corner 3 minutes and dropped the tools off at Goodwill. I'm a fan of Habitat's mission and work, but if you really want to make donations hard, then don't bother asking for them. Needless to say, that's my first and last visit.

I have been visiting the ReStore since they opened and felt compelled to leave a review after my last few recent stops in.
While I have found a great deal at the ReStore a time or two, I will no longer be stopping in until management realizes that thrift stores can not and should not demand retail prices for the items donated to them FOR FREE.
The prices here are laughable and have infact given me some good chuckles while shopping. $75 for a Walmart desk that was originally $80, but this one is wobbly and all scratched up! What a deal! $10 for a smashed up picture frame when I can buy a new one at the craft store for the same price? Yes please. Would I love to dig through a box of used, scratched, and dirty miscellaneous cabinet knobs to try and find matching ones to save 25¢ and a trip to Home Depot? Of course!
These are the thoughts I imagine the managers of this store have while pricing the merchandise.
As someone who was raised thrifting to save money and be frugal the ReStore has completely lost the plot. Taking someone else's dirty item home isn't worth it if there is no savings. Instead of buying items I see and want at the ReStore they sit on the shelf unsold and overpriced, and now they have lost me as a customer for good.

One of the coolest places around to visit! Must say, you can find anything from a front door, all the way down the line to a toilet or even a TV. I currently am employed here at habitat and love my job. I'm trying to organize the store along with keeping customers happy and safe. So come on in and see all the cool things we have to offer.

One of my favorite stores that I cannot support any longer. Another one falls to corruption and greed. Oh well......

Went today and will never go again. The older lady at the front, I apologize I cannot remember her name, was the rudest person I have ever met.

Called to check on ceramic floor for my kitchen. I live like 2 hours away from the store. The front desk clerk was very rude and obnoxious. She said they had ceramic tile. Wouldn't let my husband speak to somebody on the floor. She said she couldn't leave the front desk. She said she hag two guys on the floor, but said they were busy and couldn't come to the phone. My husband asked to speak to the manager. She said he was busy and couldn't come to the phone. Since I live 2hours away I didn't want to make the trip for nothing, because I need 40 boxes to do my floor. The front desk clerk hung the phone up in my husband's face. How rude and unprofessional. If you don't like your job stay home. And let somebody that going to treat the customers right have it.Just remember the customers are the one's paying your salary and everyone else salary. The really need to teach you some customer service.

These guys have lost the plot :( they are way too overpriced in general. But today was a simple example. I bought small used wreaths for $5 each, just to walk into Walmart and see it's only $3.48!!! I may just have to use them for dumping house trash instead of buying anything there.

Very nice supply of items. They have everything you might need to redo and entire room and I mean everything. From doors to paint and tile. All for very very cheap. Lovely place. Everyone is friendly, kind, and helpful. Will be going there from now on for my household reno needs.

The store is OK, but their hours are horrible for people who work weekdays, open at noon on Saturday and closed on Sundays, weekdays they close at 5. I work in DC and this makes it next to impossible to visit during the week. I would go there more often to look first before going to a box store but my window of opportunity is only on Saturdays, IF I've got nothing planned for the afternoon.
