Getting appointments at the Hand and Stone salons has become increasingly difficult. The services once received are good but trying to get an appointment is tough.

They have had signs out advertising Buy one - get one gift certificates for a month, They even have BOGO written in large letters across their front window. I went into the business to buy one and was informed that the sale had been over for several days. When I pointed out the multiple signs displaying the sale, they did nothing but say 'sorry'.This was over a week ago and the signs are still up.

Very frustrated.. first off I want to say I had a membership with hand & stone for almost a year and had no issues up until my recent visit. I am getting married this Saturday & had a massage set up for the day with my mom. They called me 2 hours before my appointment to cancel on me, with no accommodations. I had this scheduled for at least 4 months in advance. My mom graciously gave me her massage while we were figuring out a solution (arguing with very rude staff members)— they did not make it an easy process or give us any other options. We had asked if they could possibly move any other guest around considering the time crunch we were under before the big day. I know that it’s unfair to have someone switch their appointment, however if someone called me to tell me the situation, I would absolutely reschedule my appointment to the next available spot. Finally, we called back to see if there were any other services available so we could at least have some relaxation & they said they had a facial open.. why was that not recommended when we talked the first time on the phone?? Who knows.. once we arrived i upgraded my moms facial for an additional add on service— after i paid for it, the GM came out and said we could then add another upgraded service for free.. very nice— THEN, i checked my account and i was charged another time for my membership after i had cancelled last month, I was told that my account would NOT be charged again. I tried to ask questions around it, one of the staff members told me they would refund me and the GM came out and said that was not correct and that i was just charged one last time.. at this point the customer service for me was terrible. The lady at the front desk was very nice when I came in & my massage was good.

I had a nice massage in a clean and calming environment. Delante was a good message therapist and Toya at the front desk was very nice.

Always pleasant receptionists and usually know my name when I come in each month. My massage, as well as when I get a facial is relaxing and great.

I thought I was doing the right thing calling and canceling because I had a fever, but the front desk made me feel terrible. I probably won't go back due to that! I loved the services I got here but hated feeling the way they made me feel.

Great and relaxing environment. Friendly staff and clean facilities. Wonderful service. Come here regularly and have had a membership for awhile and its worth it.

This location constantly cancel your appointments due to high turn over of their staff. Today I tried to give them another chance after 2 of my last 3 facials have been cancelled the day before, I got to the location after getting 3 text messages, 2 emails, and a voicemail confirming my appointment for them to tell me there was no record of my appointment. Now I'm stuck having to jump through hoops to cancel my membership with too many pkgs bc I can never get serviced here.**I emailed per the response below 5 days ago and got no response from the manager**

Great massage, great customer service. Delante’s technique was wonderful and one of the best massages I’ve had at a hand and stone location also great conversations! Hailey at the front desk was super nice and welcoming and was able to schedule my future appointment with ease. I can’t wait to return.

Do not recommend signing up for their monthly membership. They have zero flexibility so if you have a sick child at home they will charge you $34 cancellation notice, even though you can’t call to cancel prior to 0900 because they aren’t open. Once you decide to cancel the membership they will continue to charge you for an extra month due to the “membership agreement” you signed and they’ll be sure to quote it to you several times during that call. If you’re feeling extra lucky you might get hung up on, as well. Lovely experience.

I was a member long ago. Due to my busy schedule I never had time to get my massages done. I canceled my membership, but they never told me I had 3 months to use my massages that was charged during my membership. When I went there to schedule my massages, they told my massages were already expired. Total of 3 or 4 massages lost... It must be nice keep people's money! Communication is a MUST!!!My other disappointment...they had a special going on for $ 69.99 per massage at the store. My son went to by online and my son was charged full price for the same date and services they were offering the promotion. I sent emails and called many times asking for them to reward me with the the same price of the promotion. They never did anything about it.Now, last week I tried to make an appointment so I can just go ahead and use the gift cards my son gave me. I was trying to get an earlier appointment. They just had one appointment at 8pm. I made that appointment by I requested to be put in the cancelation list because I really wanted an earlier appointment. She said, "it's fine, but if you are able to get in earlier I will still have to charge you 50% of the massage booked for 8pm." I totally hate this place. They are very clean but, they are totally about money. They can't care less about you! Bad business management!!!

I received a massage as a gift and it was my first visit to Hand and Stone. I’ve had massages before but nothing like this one! Chrissy was friendly and professional, asked questions as to any areas I needed her to focus on. The oil and hot stone combination was fabulous, it felt amazing and I felt great afterwards! I will definitely be going back again!
