THIS PLACE IS A JOKE, IVE CALLED 5 TIMES AND ONLY ONCE SPOKE WITH SOMEONE ONCE. I WAITED OVER AN HOUR FOR THEM TO COME PICK ME UP AND I WAS FORCED TO PAY FOR AN UBER TO GET A RIDE OVER THERE .... AND STILL WAITED IN PERSON FOR OVER 40 MINUTES I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND. THE PHONES WERE RINGING AND THEY WERE ALL IGNORED, NO BODY WAS HELPING ME AND THE OTHER CUSTOMER THERE ONE WAS LAUGHING ON HER CELL PHONE NOT EVEN WORKING, THIS PLACE IS NOT BUSY AND THEY DO NOT NEED TO BE OPEN, THEY NEED TO SHUT DOWN NO POINT IN HERTZ WASTING MONEY ON THIS PLACE. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HONESTLY ITS BEEN LIKE THIS FOR YEARS, IM MAKING THIS NOW BECAUSE I WANT A REFUND FOR MY UBER AND ME BEING OVER 2 HOURS LATE FOR MY JOB THAT I ENJOY AND THAT I WORK HARD AT UNLIKE HERTZ. ILL BE WAITING FOR SOME ONE TO REPLY TO THIS. IF THAT EVEN HAPPENS.

Great service and very kind. i would like to shoutout employees Aquila and Raheel. they were very helpful in getting me a vehicle in a short notice and very pleasant to work with as a customer 10/10.

Aquioa was exceptional. She went above and beyond to find me a car to get in and I appreciate her patience . She went out of her way to meet my needs. She needs some type of recognition for her competency and I recommend this Hertz to any one simply because of the custom service

After having a horrible rental experience with Hertz Richmond airport, I tried a smaller Hertz location and the customer service was what I’m used to.Without hesitation, this team went above and beyond to assist me. I would not have known I was charged for fuel at the Richmond airport if they didn’t notify me and tell me I needed to fill up the exchange.Their communication and sense of responsibility for the larger Hertz enterprise was admirable. Pending the outcome of my complaints with the Hertz corporation I’ll be a return customer, just not at Richmond.Thank you guys.

The counter service had 1 young lady continuously working by herself as 4 of us waited. Then another guy would pop up to help 1 person and go back. I witnessed this during my pickup and my attempted drop-off ?

Not the ideal place to rent a car and truly one of the toughest to work with post booking with a third party. If you rent here, rent directly with them and don’t forget to lock in your rental a day ahead if you use a debit card!Sad too see so many people with no credit card have to walk out without a car.I had my bases covered with making a reservation early and having my credit card input ahead of time but I guess made the mistake of using my Apple credit card. Somehow it was impossible for the rep to figure out how to confirm my reservation let alone release the vehicle.I opted to not make our interaction last more than 5 minutes and walked my happy self to the Avis / Budget where they always deliver especially with the cross country trips I’ve made throughout the year.Also don’t call on Saturdays as the one rep on deck is overwhelmed with in person rentals. The rep said he’s has been instructed not to answer any calls then.Hope it this location improves as Hertz usually don’t hurt-

Do not go here. Terrible service. Stated my vehicle was not in stock once I arrived. Their excuse was that they did not have any contact information to notify me. How do you not have contact info for a booked reservation? On top of precomfirming the vehicle would be in stock!!! Mind you we saw one of the vehicles in the lot!! Ruined all of our plans !!

We had a reservation we went to go pick up our car and they gave it away. They gave no options and obtaining another car their attitude was as metter a fact it's your problem. There wasn't even an apology. I would rate the customer service poor but there was none. We live 4000miles away there weren't a lot of options. Thanks Hertz

This company deserves all the respect in the world.We had a reservation for a middle SUV. When we showed up. It wasn't there.But without even hesitant.They get us in Big one without any extra charge.We felt VIP clients.Their customer service is amazing ?

My insurance set up a rental reservation with this location, I was expected to receive a call confirming my reservation. I never received a call from them. I tried calling several times with no one answer. I called again the next day with no answer. I called my insurance to cancel since they could not be bothered to even answer their phone. I set up a reservation with Enterprise and received a return phone call within minutes.

use your credit card once, and they will forver charge you card! 3 months later still calling in to ask them why they have again charged my card. if you want to get scammed and enjoy being charged for nohting every month go ahead adn try this place out! i wish i can give it zero stars
