I went to get me 5 sets of keys cut, the associate got to the key area and he was very helpful, as well the other associate who called for assistance at the key area, I was charged $62 + the cashier was extremely nice and I went back to my office, 2 sets of key didn’t work, so I went back to the store to get it fix, the associate was very helpful and took care of the problem, as I was leaving, I noticed the receipt I got was for the return items, not for what I paid and I needed a receipt to go to my accounting department to get reimburse, I went back to the associate and she told me that she was not able to give me a new receipt, that she needed to call her manager, she came, told me that she couldn’t give me a receipt, that the only way to fix my problem was to go get all my keys and return them all, I tried to explain but she got a little attitude, so I went to get the keys with the idea that they were going to rerun the transaction, but they didn’t, they told me that the keys were a return item and that I needed to go back and get them cut again, at that point I decided to just leave and forget about the situation.Home Depot lost my sale for $62+, lost the keys the time that I lost as well trying to solve a simple matter and I didn’t get my keys. What a waste, Home Depot was the best unfortunately no longer is.Thank you.

I just tried calling Home Depot at 6:58pm to ask about the kids workshop on Saturday's. The phone just rang for shy of 4 minutes the first time and almost 7 minutes. No one answered. This isn't the first time but the last time was years ago. Such a shame.

One of the worst home depots I have ever been too... really black eye to the company.

Great selection of tools, household items and building supplies. Home Depot is the only store that carries Philips Hue. The staff is helpful and attentive.

Lack of communication and poor customer service. They took our money and no updates on our order. My husband and I placed an order on Nov 13th for a floor and staircase carpet installation. We have gone to the store twice to only be told we are going to receive a phone call. What is going on? When we attempt to call the store, we get hung up on. We just want an update on our order status and some information on what is going on. We paid almost 5,000 to install a new floor, and we still haven't received any updates on an installation date or next steps. So Home Depot takes our money, and the contractor who is supposed to install our floors has no level of communication, and neither does The Home Depot! I am extremely disappointed, I will not shop at this Home Depot or arrange any projects with The Home Depot moving forward.

I placed an order for a new hardwood floor on November 13th and it is now Devember 7th. I have been calling your store over and over again only to get hung up on every single time. I am still waiting on an update. Who is working your phones and why are they hanging up on paying customers? You need to step up your customer service otherwise this will be the last time I do my floors with Home Depot. LOWES would be much more professional

FYI - this store will NOT price match. I found the same item in stock at Lowe’s down the street. I asked Home Depot for a price match. Three associates told me they can only price match in store regular price items. Because the item I wanted was on sale (not clearance) and because I didn’t have a print ad showing it in store, they would not match the price. I pulled it up on my phone and it showed in stock in the store - wasn’t good enough.I won’t be back here.

HD has gotten away from being helpful like they used to be. You ask a question as an amateur and they default to, "I can't tell you what to do, you need a plan". Asking questions of "pros" used to help in the plan. Don't bother asking for advice. Hit YouTube instead.

I got my Home DooDoo credit card and went to the Fredericksburg, VA store to break it in. I was excited to be making my very first purchase. Got up early. Drove an hour.. And walked in and began shopping.. That was the end of the positive aspect of this particular story.. At checkout, I asked about getting the Veterans discount that they advertise and showed my military ID card.. I was told I first had to sign up for an "account" online.. Again, I showed her my credit card and said, you already have all of my info - that's how I got the credit card.. further, I explained that when I applied for the card, I chatted with the rep online and asked about the veterans discount.. (wish I had grabbed a screenshot) the rep replied, "oh don't worry about that.. just show them your military ID in the store.. they will need to see it in order to verify that you are a military veteran." I said, okay that makes sense.. Well, I didn't get a discount. I essentially just got called a liar. I got confronted by some fat slob trying to sneak up on me.. My military veteran brothers and sisters take note.. Home Depot advertises that they offer a military discount but when it came time to issue said discount, all this Disabled Vet got was a whole lot of run-around.. There are details I can't really cover here but ultimately, I cannot.. I absolutely cannot recommend Home DooDoo for anything. As far as I am concerned, my visit to the store today told me everything I need to know and I won't be going back. VETERANS SHOULD NEVER HAVE TO BEG FOR A DISCOUNT.

I have a Pro Account here and spent thousands of $ in a month, but it’s getting continually worse here for customer service, it’s very hard to effectively complete projects when the racks for all the sizes of treated lumber that I need are practically empty except for a few pieces that aren’t fit to use! Especially when you have three employees hanging out outside the back dock door doing absolutely nothing!? Why then are the racks not filled? Very disheartening to say the least

Today, October 3, 2023, I went to the Home Depot on Gateway Blvd, In Fredericksburg, VA, to pick up two closet doors. These were so hard to find online! No one had both of them, but this Home Depot did! I live quit a far distance from here. Where I live, we do not have a Home Depot. I sure did pick out the right one!My experience here was amazing! All the people I encountered that worked here, went above and beyond their service.First there was a gentleman who put my 78x80 and 60x80 closet doors into my cart. He was so kind, helpful and polite. I wish I had gotten his name. He was young and so nice! Then the woman at the pro dest was so helpful and cheerful. She helped me leave my closets doors there to come back later and pick them up. I wish I had gotten her name too! She too was young and very nice! Then there was Daniel in lumber who came out and put my closet doors in my pick up truck. I am glad that I got his name! He was polite, and came right out! I barely even had to wait a minute. I am so impressed with the employees in this Home Depot! Thank you so much! I will be back!
