This literally just happened tonight. just go in to look around, well I’m just looking around with my friend and this girl that works there drops sum and I go to help her pick it up and she doesn’t even say thank you. Like alright I don’t care, I’m literally leaving and I tell my friend a joke about how she’s rude and doesn’t like Hispanic people. I’m not even lying when I say this, she yelled at me that she could’ve picked it up by her self and then calls security over saying that I am harassing her. 🤣
security guard comes up to me and tells I’m not in trouble just not to go back cuz they call him all the time for stuff. Moral of the story is I’m sorry hot-topic for being kind and being Hispanic male I’ll try my hardest not to disappoint you next time. (Also the girl that works there clearly heard me say that she’s racist and never said anything about it just called security because she knows she can’t say nun).

Haven’t been to Hot Topic in a while, but I had wonderful time exploring the various new merchandise in the store.
Shelby is fantastic!!! Such a lovely and bubbly personality. She greeted me the minute I walked in, told me about all the cool sales going on and was more than happy to help me find some Helluva Boss shirts. I went back to the store to purchase a mini back pack for a friend and a Shelby told me about a matching wallet that she found. Top notch customer service right there 🥳👍🏾
Overall I had an amazing time shopping at Hot Topic and will definitely be back.

"Real quick, just do me a favor and grab any 2 pins!" Perky blonde, Lauren, telling me this as I'm checking out. I'm thinking " oh maybe it's a free thing" so I grab 2 little ones and obviously I'm charged for it. Thanks Hot Topic employee for taking advantage of socially anxious people. Really disappointed that a safe space has become unsafe for alternative people.

I love hot topic stuff but I'm frustrated with the shipping to the store is terrible I can't believe it takes 10 days. Then if the stuff is already in the store you can't pick it up even though you paid for these items because they're shipping an item to the store that's already there and it just didn't update on the website. You might as well pay more for shipping to your house because this isn't good. :/ I don't have any complaints about the employees just the corporation policy is ridiculous. I have to order online to even get 30% off on all the items in my cart in the store you can't even do this. And some stuff isn't already in stock.
