I came to LabCorp for service for my son. I must say the service was good at the facility. On the other hand the billing department start sending me a bill for full payment. I called the billing department and was told they don't have insurance information. As a result, I gave the information over the phone. Surprisely I got another bill for full payment again in the mail. It took my insurance company to contact LabCorp and requested the bill send to them instead. Do let the billing department push you to pay the bill and not contact your insurance for payment.

Seeing all of the bad reviews had me worried about scheduling an appointment at this LabCorp location, but I had an extremely positive experience. Online scheduling was easy and convenient.I completed check-in on my phone when I arrived (fifteen minutes early, as requested), and three minutes later I received a text saying that the technician was ready to see me. I've had much longer waits at other LabCorp locations.I waited for maybe five minutes in the lobby, which only had two other people waiting in it. I was called back to have my lab work done, and the technician was welcoming and friendly. The technician knew what they were doing and I felt confident that I was in good, skilled hands.I don't doubt that other people have had negative experiences at this location, but I wanted to share my positive experience as a glimmer of hope that not every encounter at this LabCorp is a bad one. I would go back to the Salem Church Road LabCorp again in a heartbeat.

Today we came at around 4:50, 10 minutes before closing because they could not find my baby’s veins at the pediatric clinic. Told them what had happened and because my baby it’s only 13 months they needed to be careful.Lady at the front desk got us in quick, and the lady who took the blood out of my baby was very professional and found the vain fast and way better than at the pediatrics.Man at the front desk was also very professional and kind.Overall a great experience!

I wish I could give zero stars because one star is too much. I went here today for the first time with my son who is under two years old to get his labs for the first time. Staff Mary Beth was rude from the very beginning and seriously doesn’t need to be in a profession where her customer service skills are clearly lacking. I tried making a formal complaint at the office before I left but the supervisor wasn’t available. I was asked to leave my name and phone number. I’m still waiting for a supervisor to call me. Mary Beth’s behavior today was extremely unprofessional and there’s no reason to treat another human being the way that she did.

The man at the window is always very rude and not helpful at all. He acts like you’re bugging him because you’re there.

Ouch!I had an appointment at 11:45 and am just now done at 12:50 with barely anybody here. The front desk lady was super nice (Kaylee??) and admitted the online check in was messed up and got me right in after I spent my whole lunch here. The lady up front also specifically noted the preferred name I use. Checked and highlighted it quite literally. When my name was called by the lady who was about to draw my blood (unfortunately) she used the wrong name. When she was drawing my blood she didn’t have any bedside manners and jabbed me twice. The first time she tried to draw she said I didn’t drink enough water (which is crazy bc last time I did so much to the point the nurse was afraid I might have over hydrated and might have diluted electrolytes). Then that same time she couldn’t get any blood and kept digging in my arm! Which was very unpleasant. Then she had to draw from my other arm and that time hurt even more… the last time I got my blood drawn was complete opposite of this. The nurse at the labcorp near Mary Wash was a pro. She drew 15 vials from me and I didn’t feel a thing or even pain afterwards. This lady only drew two and I feel like I got punched in both arms… What is going on??? (Not slamming the lady at the front desk, she was incredible.) the person drawing my blood whoever. Good luck to anybody else. It should not feel like this!

My bruises are even worse and the pain still isn't totally gone. Avoid this place at all costs please! The level of care was not there.

Took my 3 year old daughter to get her blood drawn Christina was hands out the best of the best will be coming her for here on out she wiped my daughters nose and was very patient

The wait time was not bad here, but insisting I pay 3 times the amount of my copay and telling me I will be refunded the amount back if not needed is criminal. I already know I only owe my copay, they are taking my money for no reason (my insurance card tells them my copay). Try the lab at MWH in the Thompkins Martin building. They only bill me for my copay!

This place is abysmal. The service is slow, the waits are interminable, and the the phlebotimist that drew my mothers boold was incompetent. She jabbed her 3 times, had blood spurting on the floor, and after all that wasn't sure she'd drawn enough.As we left I saw her swipe up the blood on the floor with a paper towel. Not sure that's up to code . . .We only went here because Blue Shield decided we couldn't use Mary Washington lab any more. I'll be letting them know the place they chose provides seriously questionable care.Avoid this place if you have a choice.

The quality of work and the availability of current updated medical supplies is lacking, person drawing blood was not gentle and the blood draw area is unusually sore. They did not have the updated butterfly equipment Nd only had tape available for protecting the draw area post draw. Will not be coming back to this location.

The only reason why I’m giving this place two stars is because the phlebotomist who drew my blood was wonderful. Everything else here lacks efficiency.I did the self-check in online, then waited in my car for 15 minutes (!!!) to receive a text before going inside and ask if I’m ready to be seen. I still never received one. The gentleman behind the desk was curt and told me to check in to the kiosk, which I did not need to do since I already checked in online. I told him this, and he said I’ll be seen “shortly.”I waited over 20 minutes before the woman behind the desk to just ask for my script. During this time period, I noticed some people complain that they’ve waited for over an hour. Yet, one gentleman who arrived an hour early for his appointment was seen quickly. It did not make any sense. The office was very unorganized and the front desk staff were rude to patients. They need better management or turnover.

Sabotage. My son got his blood work today for the first time, and this person was training on him. He pinched him probably 10 or more times. Horrible experience for my son.

Just shut this place down. Everyone who works here is rude. Even if you have an appointment you're waiting forever to be seen. People come here who have been fasting for 12 hours or more and have to sit even longer to be seen. If you need a sample collection kit you still have to wait in a queue to get it. I've been waiting 75 minutes now to be seen for a urine collection bottle.Everytime I come here it's a long wait whether there's 3 people or 20 people waiting in the small waiting room.What a waste of people's time and zero care for patients.
