What a great company to do business with. A very professional and knowledgeable team, particularly Oliver and Casey. Not only did I get a great product but they also threw in some Decked Swag for me which was a bonus of course. I'm very happy with my purchase and will be recommending this company to family, friends, and more.

Oliver is exactly the person you want to deal with when purchasing a trailer. He worked very hard to resolve an issue with our truck to make sure that we drove away with the trailer we wanted. Communication and patience with us and answering all of our questions ensures that we would recommend this business and would buy from them again.

Went here this past weekend. Horrible customer service. Me and my wife just brought our first RV and I wanted to purchase a trailer dolly from this company. I had questions about the dolly I wanted to purchase and the customer service representative was very "ABRUPT". Will take my hard earned money elsewhere.

Came in to ask a question and they were able to immediately help me and get the third light on my topper fixed. Great people to work with!

Tried repeatedly to give these people money for a spray in liner. Wouldn't return calls to setup an appointment. Actually sounded irritated when I kept calling... ridiculous.

I recently bought a 6’ x 10’ utility trailer at Leonard Buildings & Truck Accessories. Midway through my trailer selection process I decided to buy a larger trailer with sides that were a full 2’ high and black-painted steel mesh on all four sides. Throughout the process of selecting the right size trailer, hitch and anti-theft accessories I was offered valuable assistance from Kasie Teague in Sales. The personal attention I received as a customer along with Kasie’s experience with her company’s products expedited the buying process and actually made it enjoyable. Working with a genuinely helpful and knowledgeable sales rep is simply not available at Northern Tool, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Tractor Supply Center, etc. The paperwork required for titling/registration was done for me, sparing me an hour or more of DMV hassle. Not sure how that step even gets done at the outlets listed above. A few days after I purchased the trailer I noticed a plastic lens for a turn signal indicator had been cracked. Oliver the Store Sales Manager replaced it free of charge. Leonard Buildings also offers spray on truck liners and a full line of truck accessories.

Horrible experience. Staff was rude and they did a terrible job. They cut stuff that shouldn’t have been cut, scraped and damaged the $2,400 dome that I specifically said I wouldn’t purchase if water leaked in (the rep told me it absolutely would NOT leak and assured me it would be sealed). Sure enough it rained and a pool of water was waiting for me on the truck bed. They took off the bed cleats that came with my brand new truck because the dome would not fit. They cut everything else but couldn’t manage to cut a section to make room for the bed cleats. They trimmed everything they weren’t supposed to but wouldn’t bother cutting what they should have. I’m not sure were all these positive ratings came from, bots maybe? This was one of the most expensive worst experiences I’ve had and I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone.

Had a tow hitch put on my 2020 Nissan Rough sport, it took 4 hours but the job was done rite. I would rather wait alittle longet than have it rushed and done poorly. They are very nice people always smiling. Yes I will be going back to them. Thumbs up guys for Leonard in Fredericksburg., va. Thank you for the great job. Happy costumer, Mrs. Huffman

I think that Oliver and his team are going a good job. I think that they are either task saturated or ill-equiped to handle the sale of buildings and truck accessories and the delivery and installation of these things. I looked at all the cap companies in the area and Oliver did know the most and did not feed me a line to get me to buy from him and I respect that. They are really bad about call-backs when parts arrive, or when the work is complete. I sent an email to Oliver asking to buy an additional $500 of hitches and bedrugs, but he never answered... I think oliver is the single point of success or failure so if he is doing it all, not all of it gets done... still no one that I have talked to, knows more about truck caps...I worked with Oliver and the team to order a truck cap for my 2019 Silverado 2500 HD. After some work and calling back-and-forth with Leer, we were able to determine what would actually fit on my truck.. The purchase process was easy and the military discount discount was very much appreciated. The shell took about 10 weeks to arrive which was expected because of covid delay. I was not able to see the Cap as it was being put on because it was raining. The next day I was able to take a look at the cap and I saw that there was some damage and the fit and finish was very poor. I brought the truck back and looked it over with Oliver and he agreed. He explained that there was a lot of quality problems as Leer was trying to catch up because of covid delays...- sticking drivers side slider- scratched front slider- bent rear frame from loading/unloading with forklift- stuck roof rack woudlnt open- they ground down the fiberglass to fit in rear door and never repainted it...?- they tore the liner when installing drivers side sliderI explained to Oliver that I only had about 3 months until I retired from the military and would be driving across the country. He worked with the manufacturer to get a solution that would meet my timeline.. The manufacturer sent multiple windows and trim pieces out and Oliver did the work himself in the shop. Although I have not been able to see the work because it has been raining since I picked the truck up look up, it appears to be in a much better state than when I picked up the cap the first time.Ultimately, the take away from this long story it's that the quality of Leer products is not very good right now but Oliver and his team did take care of the customer after the sale and I really appreciate that. I would give them a conditional recommendation to family and friends.

I had a trailer that needed work and I was leaving town the next day. No one in town would agree to even look at the trailer for a week and Casey from Leonard's listened to my issue and agreed to have her guys look at it in the morning. I dropped it off and the next morning she called to say that the issue was not what I thought a far less expensive. The trailer was fixed and I drug it to Colorado without issue. I really appreciate the level of effort that Casey went through to help me out and get me back to Colorado without having to wait a week.
