Nannette helped me buy my first and only home 20 years ago, and we've stayed in touch ever since! What started as a real estate agent-client relationship has evolved into more of a friendship over the years. Back when I was a first-time homebuyer, she was incredibly informative and thorough. She even provided detailed property lot maps with exact dimensions and angles that my neighbors who bought more recently don't have. Over the years, I've called on Nannette multiple times for real estate advice, and she's always very knowledgeable about the home buying process, the local housing market, and financial matters.
Recently, I reached out about finding a place for my daughter, and despite not having spoken for a couple of years (except for holiday texts), she got right back to me with rental property suggestions and homes for sale that might work. She's always responded quickly and made conversations comfortable, whether it's about my property or helping my family. If I ever decide to sell my home (though I'm hesitant after putting in a recording studio downstairs!), she'd definitely be my first call. Nannette is an experienced, trustworthy realtor and has truly been there for me across two decades.

Seventeen years ago, while planning to relocate from Colorado to Lynchburg, Virginia, I stumbled across a house I was intrigued with, that I had missed in my remote searches. I hadn’t considered a multi-family property, but this house spoke to me. I called the agent listed on the sign, and got Nannette Turner on the phone. At the time, I was a licensed real estate agent myself, and my first impression was very positive. She immediately seemed intelligent, engaged and accommodating. Ultimately, I purchased that property, and Nannette deftly represented my interests as well as the seller’s. Thus began a valuable and rewarding alliance.
Nannette’s dedication and professionalism shine. During that deal, if I had questions about the property, the sellers, or the local market, she knew the answer, or did the research and got back to me promptly. She referred me to a home inspector, a property manager, and an insurance agent; relationships that continue to this day. She made the process of purchasing the property simple, and gave me confidence that all the details would get attended to, though I was back in Colorado and conducting this business long distance. We still touch base fairly frequently after all these years, and I truly consider her a friend.
In the next few years, my fiancé and I are likely to be looking at a single family home to purchase for us, and the grand historic house that I bought in 2008, now restored, will become strictly an income property. When we are ready to make that move, Nannette will be my first call. I wouldn’t think of using anyone else.

Nannette Turner has a lot of get up and go — she’s always moving, always on it, and doesn’t miss a thing. She doesn't just wait around; she’s proactive, responsive, and keeps you well-informed throughout the entire real estate process.
When I wanted to sell my house, I really appreciated how straightforward she was. She told me everything I needed to know to get my house sold and what basic price range it would be in. We met up a lot! Any question I had, all I had to do was call her and she would give me the answer right away. Now she’s helping me, my son, and his wife buy a home in the Lynchburg County area. She’s explaining everything really well to us and making the process very comfortable. She’s also connecting us with mortgage lenders she trusts, making the home-buying process easier from start to finish.

Nearly 20 years and three home purchases later, Nannette is still the best decision we’ve ever made when it comes to buying real estate. This is actually my third home purchase with her, and this time, I didn't even go house hunting. I just told her what my husband and I were looking for, and she found exactly what we wanted and reached out when it became available.

I wish I could bottle Nannette up and keep her at my house! After searching for the right home for several years, I was getting tired! I asked the Lord to help me find something that was both safe and affordable. When my finance company connected me with Nannette, a top-rated Virginia Realtor, I had no idea we’d end up being friends for life after just one day. Talk about divine intervention!
Nannette went above and beyond as a buyer’s agent, driving a long way to show me a property – and it turned out to be exactly what I had asked God for. What impressed me most is how no-nonsense and focused she was on what I wanted, not what she could get out of the sale. She kept checking in to make sure it was truly what I wanted and whether it would work for me, which is something I’ve rarely experienced with other real estate professionals.
Once I decided to make an offer, Nannette negotiated the home price down to what I was approved for, handling everything for me with ease – which was such a relief. I was moving from Kentucky to Virginia, where I knew absolutely nobody, but Nannette made my out-of-state home buying process smooth and stress-free. I couldn't have done this without her – there’s simply no way I would have been able to manage this move without her by my side. I couldn't imagine working with another real estate agent, which is why I couldn't recommend her enough!

Nanette was absolutely fabulous from the minute we started the process of purchasing my first single family home to the day I signed my closing documents. She is the type of realtor that it’s a true genuine advocate for her clients and will do whatever it takes to ensure the entire process is smooth and as less stressful as possible. I’m shocked what her and her team was able to accomplish in such a short period of time. Nanette , Joe and her team were always available via text or phone at any time of day and answered any questions I had leaving me with a complete sense of relief knowing I was taken care of. I was also impressed by their ‘white glove service after closing.’ It took one phone call to get my utilities, internet and security system set up — very nice service to have!! By far the best real estate agent I’ve ever worked with. This is the third home I’ve purchased and Nannette constantly went above and beyond to find myself and my family a home in a very competitive housing market. Her kindness and hard work guided me through the entire buying process. She is not only amazing at her job but a fantastic person. You can tell she genuinely cares for her clients. She never pushed me to buy something or oversell me on a home, I always got her honest opinion which I greatly appreciated. She does her job with a great deal of kindness, empathy and hard work. Some realtors come across like a grimy used car salesman but not Nannette. I can’t say enough good things about her! Make her your real estate agent I promise you won’t regret it!!!!
