I recently refinanced my car here because I have a limited income and my insurance rate was increasing. They didn’t tell me that when I refinance my car that my gap insurance coverage would go away. So not only did my monthly payment only go down a few dollars but I now have to purchase gap insurance again. So, I didn’t save at all but instead now having to pay more. I wish I would have been told. I’m so unhappy about this situation and considering they’re also in the news because it was found that they discriminated against blacks who were trying to get a mortgage, I am very disappointed in Navy Federal.

Extremely upset about the current situation. I deposited my check and they said it would take a day for me to see it in my account it’s been three. This is ridiculous if I were to cash it I would have gotten it immediately.

Absolutely horrible experience today not only was I disrespected and addressed about my situation in the lobby and not even allowed to have my debit card that I had to get reissued and told to visit the branch building to pick up. They claim to follow policy but break policy. If I do get access again I'll remove my money and never bank with them again.

I've been banking at another military credit union who recently changed their name. In comparison, Navy Federal makes that CU look like a child's piggy bank. The Navy Federal app is great and not glitchy like the other CU. I feel that Navy Federal has put more money into on-line security and is more on the ball generally. Plus, everyone is always friendly when I go into a branch.

I love NFCU overall! My complaint is with this one in particular. The wait time in the drive thru is utterly ridiculous! Every time I come, they average almost 8 minutes per car. REALLY! SMH.... It can't be that everyone has multiple transactions all the time!!!
