OK YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO THIS!!! My car 2011 Toyota Camry needed an engine balancer replaced so I called several downtown shops in Fredericksburg. They all gave me the same story that my car had 2 timing chains that the engine balancer had to go around and the engine had to be pulled out to do this work. Now at this time they saw dollar signs and thinking I knew nothing about my own car and what it needed to fix this part. I took my car to Patterson Auto and he said if you get the part I’ll put it in. Patterson Auto told me exactly what was needed and how long it was going to take. Patterson’s Auto delivered what they said and it was at a fair rate. SO FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!! If you are looking for a mechanic and a really really good auto shop. I highly recommend Patterson’s auto. The shop was very clean and the bathroom was impeccably clean. You can’t find a more fair and honest Auto shop like Patterson Auto.

I was very glad to find Mike’s shop after experiencing an incident somewhere else getting an oil change that caused my engine to blow. Mike & his assistant Ms Cynthia helped me find a brand new engine, & they were able to replace it in a few weeks. We even took another vehicle to him during the same time to have some small maintenance done on that as well, & currently have him working on a truck of ours. His pricing was the most reasonable around town when calling over 20 mechanic shops for estimates for engine repair/replacement. A little patience in time due to shop size & many cars being repaired, but I would highly recommend him!Services: Engine repair

I love bringing my car here to get serviced. Mr. Patterson is such a nice guy and he’s not looking to rip anyone off. His prices are reasonable and the work is always outstanding. I’ve never had to return my car because the repair wasn’t done correctly. I love this place.
