From the revolution to WWII this shop has something if you are interested. Not a typical repop shop. All the authentic items in cases are for sale but at a cost. Mostly it focuses on civil war due to its location directly across from the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park. It literally sits where a battle took place.

Nice stuff. Smartmouth and other guy fixed to net if enter. Won't even look away from netasphere. If you bring in ANYTHING to sell shows no interest or trashes your stuff with insults. All his stuff tho the cats azz of the military biz world !

While passing through in October, me and a fellow Yankee toured the Fredericksburg battle site and popped in the Picket Post just to look around. A bag of war memorabilia and collectibles later, we continued on to Gettysburg. Today, I just went to their website and ordered more stuff. Good prices, and good people to talk to.

I am used to Gettysburg where stores like this liter the main road and I've grown fond of going into them. This particular store was about one of the only ones there so when I had seen it from the visitor center I made a dash across the road to check it out. Whoever was working the desk was fun to chat with - and when we engaged in questions about item's in the store he had fairly insightful answers. Store was fairly compact and small but for what it was , some neat things to be checked out. I purchased a few of my relics from here that I now have in my glass case and couldn't be happier. I'd recommend a stop in here if not fully interested in purchasing, some neat stuff to look at, and great guys to talk about the area with, may change your mind.
