Just from reading the other customer reviews I see that this company has zero accountability. Our refrigerator is under warranty so my home warranty company told me to contact Sears. On the 21st of February 2024 I contacted Sears to schedule an appointment. They set me up with a 8am to 5pm window which meant either my wife or I had to take off from work. Not having a working refrigerator is awful! So the appointment was scheduled for the 28th of February. From the 21st to the 28th I received several confirmations emails and text from Sears and I responded to them all. Fast forward to the 28th, I took the day off from work to meet the "8am to 5pm" window. It has been a week without a refrigerator so we threw away approximately $400 worth of food. After being home all day I received a text message at 5:16pm saying that my appointment was rescheduled to the 6th of March! Immediately I called customer service and he was worthless and clueless to why the appointment was rescheduled. I told customer that "It is unacceptable to give anyone an 8am to 5pm window and no show without even a courtesy call."Customer service agreed with me but couldn't do a thing about it but just say "I am sorry." My wife and I was furious, sadden, hurt, and disappointed with the thought of going over 2 weeks without a refrigerator. Left with no other option, we went to Lowes at around 6pm to purchase a new refrigerator. We just can't go another week without a refrigerator.I will never do business again with anything dealing with Sears Service. Again, there is no accountability with their business as usual attitudes. Unacceptable to have this kind of customer service in 2024!

This company is apparently the subcontractor for New Leaf appliance warranty company. We have a non-functioning washer that a Sears technician came our to look at, and he ordered several parts and scheduled a date for repair for today, with an 8am to 5pm window. The tech never showed up, and there was no contact information, so I called New Leaf, the appliance warranty company. They contacted the technician, who said it was a two-person job, and he was only one person. He knew this two weeks ago when he scheduled the appointment, it was not a surprise. Then the automatically rescheduled the appointment for March 4, without checking my availability, and I cannot be here on that date. And all of this was done only because I called to find out where the tech was, no one called or emailed or texted to say they couldn't keep the appointment. Finally, after lots of calling, I reached a person who said someone would get back to me within 72 hours to reschedule, but I also let them know I did not want the same technician to return, that he is not welcome in my home. He used the bathroom without first asking, and used a bathroom that is reserved for my elderly mother. Had he asked first, I would have directed him to the guest bathroom. We had to deep clean and disinfect everything after he left, before my mother could use the bathroom again. Horrible, horrible company. I do not recommend. If they happen to be the subcontractor for your extended warranty, you are out of luck. I would complain and write negative reviews for the warranty company and the appliance company, so they will get fed up and find another company to take on their contracts. You do not want to be left dealing with this company.

I have a home warranty, Sears Home Services was selected by them to do the repair to my dishwasher. They ordered the parts, which were supposed to be delivered to my house. Apparently they were delivered to another house on the date they were supposed to be delivered to my house. Couldn't talk to anyone at SHS because everything is automated, no real person to talk to. After explaining everything to the warrenty company, the parts were finally reordered and picked up by the technician and installed, 13 days after I originally placed the claim. SHS was responsible for at least eleven of those days.

The tech was very nice. Had to order part even though we took picture of the serial no which they had to have was supposed to have service 2 weeks ago but Sears cancelled with 1/2 hr notice rescheduled for the 11 Tech came had to order part so another week to wait. What is most annoying of this company is that they make it impossible to speak to anyone.I would not want to use them again

He did a great job, and after months of rescheduling appointments, because of parts arriving broken, he fixed the fridge. The part that I had to keep re-ordering, didn’t even need to be replaced. This technician did an excellent job.

Frustration on both parties!Charles (the tech) installed the switches and no change in the problem. He spent a long time on the phone with "pa". Everything they suggested, he had already done. They even postulated that it was an installation issue. Not valid as the unit ran for 12 years. He did his best! I'm as frustrated as he is. Now what?

After much back and forth to get this appointment scheduled, upon Mr. Seear's arrival, he worked diligently to resolve my issue. Parts were unavailable, however, it was Mr. Seear's personal attention that prompted me to write this review. I appreciated his time and attention.

I had an appointment for over a week, about 9 day for a water leak in my refrigerator. My appointment was between 8-5. I was home all day with my phone beside me. I received a text at 11:03 that said the tech was at my home but no one was home and a voicemail was left, both of which were not true. My husband and I were both home and had no messages or missed calls. He either showed up at the wrong home and called the wrong number, both of which were verified several times or was not honest. I called immediately and was told they would direct him to return to my home and call me, neither of which happened. They verified my address and phone number again. They had my phone number because the sent me a text message. At 3:45 I called them again and was told the technician already ended his day. If he was directed to return to house immediately he clearly didn't do it and my window for service was until 5:00. They offered to reschedule which I declined. I'm not willing to work with a company and allow them into my home when they are unprofessional, dishonest and disrespectful of my time. Do not waste your time working with a company that can't even show up at the right house and is not honest or respectful. It's a waste.

Finding out who was responsible for our “extended warranty “ was our first hurdle. Then our service call was rescheduled. The young tech who came said it was his first day. Our issue was our refrigerator ice maker had stopped working. He said that it needed to be “reset”. One day later there has been no indication that the ice maker is working again. We’ll have to begin again.I cannot answer the owners reply as I do not have a Facebook account. Please provide another contact means so I can reschedule.

Kevin was very knowledgeable and kept us informed on every step of this repair. From finding the problem, locating the part which had been discontinued to the 5 hour repair job. What a great employee.

The repair went well and the technician worked quickly but the scheduling was terrible. They made a mistake in their calendar and I had an email confirming they would come on Jan 6th (initial diagnoses of the issue was Jan 3) waited all day for the tech only to find out they put it into the actual scheduler for Jan 16 and I had to go without a working fridge for over 2 weeks due to their mistake. When I called them on the Monday following Jan 6, they told me there were no sooner appointments and I’d have to just wait til the 16th with no other options for getting it fixed sooner.
