“I've been looking for paint markers for some time. Had a few people make suggestions but unless I order them online I couldn't find what I was looking for. Many places had some but required multiple coats to get the coverage I needed. I Picked up one from Hobby Town and the guy I spoke to there knew what I was looking for, and helped me out. Although they did not have in stock what I wanted, I found one color I could use to test. He gave me enough info to know exactly what I needed as well as they could order some as well if I couldn't find it online. They have more knowledge on many parts to different hobbies even if they don't have what you want they can help you find it (or even order it if they normally carry it on their website).”

“This is a wonderful establishment run by an outstanding and amazing woman named Faylee. If you collect teddy bears and dolls you will not be disappointed. There are artist bears from Vicky Stephan, Candi Taylor and Cindy McQuire as well as the famous Steiff company. It's a whimsical labor of love. I highly recommend dropping by historic downtown Fredericksburg to see the place. You may leave with a friend or two!”
“There wasn’t anything special about this trip, but it was special to me. I recently lost my pregnancy and I needed a baby. I decided to go to build a bear even though nothing could be a replacement. I was really nervous about how I would be treated considering I’m turning 21 next year, making me a little old for a toy shop, and I looked a little sickly from all the crying I’ve been doing, but everyone was wonderful. The employees were kind and attentive and made me feel like I was supposed to be there. One of the girl had a picture of Pedro pascal and we had friendly conversation over it.
I don’t know if anyone checks reviews for this location but I wanted to say thank you both for helping me in my grieving process even though you had no idea what I was going through. It really means the world for me. Thank you for letting me be able to still bring home my baby.”
“Incredibly helpful staff with an excellent selection of books. I was able to find one book I've spent ages searching for, they ordered me another one, and recommended another bookstore in town that had the last two books I was missing for the series.”
