I just got the worst hair blow dry with Sara, the manager Rachael asked me if I want to go back to the chair so she can fix it??? How will I trust her again. I paid $42 to get home and fix my hair by myself.The manager did not handle the situation properly.Never come back at all

Selection is great. Service not so great. I wanted help choosing make up brand and shade. The unenthusiastic sales person was little help, she only talked if I asked a question. She walked off and said she'd be back. I waited a few minutes and when I started to walk away another person asked if I needed help, I told her someone was helping me and she said, the girl needed to take a 15 minute break. I paid for my make up and left. Not shopping at that location anytime soon. The guy at the counter was very nice.

I went to the salon to get a haircut that was essentially trimming my layers, and after the hair stylist (Ashley R.) assured me she could do it, I left with what was a glorified bowl cut and 3 inches off my hair. It’s been a month and the only reason it likes minutely better is due to me going to a different hairstylist who did her best with what was there (not that there was much left to work with at all, since my hair that was at my shoulders had been cut to at my ears). Afterwards, I didn’t know how to say something (because the shock of losing all my length hadn’t set in yet) and I paid when I absolutely should’ve requested a manager but when I got home (after I cried for an hour) I reached out to Ulta Customer Service who said this Ulta would call me to discuss a refund, but they never did. The store itself is fine — do NOT go to the salon.

I haven’t had my hair done in years and decided to schedule an appointment with Ulta. I was looking for just a trim to keep my length and add some highlights. Olivia Fisher did a phenomenal job with both! I’ll definitely be returning and asking for her. My hair hasn’t looked this healthy in a long time.

Worst company by far…. Lost my order then won’t honor what I had purchased …. Can’t speak to a supervisor to take care of the issue …. Have to wait for them to call me…. That’s not convenient at all…. Would not honor my birthday gift or the coupon at the store either because the app said it’s not available….. and online would not allow me to use both at once ….. this is why I will be shopping at Sephora from now on. They actually care about the customer…. And don’t get me started about the salon ….. total hack job twice on my hair from two different people because the first one messed it up I tried a different stylist…. Well she didn’t do any better and I had to go back for her to fix the coloring because it came out three different colors!!!! How!?!? And now it’s so fried it’s falling out!!!!! Never again Ulta! NEVER!!!! The first stylist was Mercedes and she told me I had to get the extra conditioning treatment with my cut because she has been with the salon so long she doesn’t do just a cut, (then how did I book the appointment for just a cut?) and I didn’t even get any scalp massage ever with any cut color or styling…. Water in my ears…. And while she was doing my hair was eating her lunch as well…. Very unprofessional and rude! This review won’t do any good either but at least it makes me feel better to vent about how horrible of a company you really are and maybe someone will read this and stay away, please, Sephora is so much nicer and they will do anything to make things right when they mess up, unlike Ulta and refusing to even give me what I paid for! Wow!

Giving Ulta salon a chance was a huge mistake. After growing my hair out for years from a pixie cut, I decided to get a perm. Never had a perm before & only the bottom inch or so had old bleach. Went in with my hair almost halfway down my back and 95% natural, no color. Left with a few inches cut off, layers I did not ask for, a failed perm, and fried hair. NEVER AGAIN. Was told to come back in a few days to get another $80 hair cut because the bottom of my hair looked bad (when I only booked a perm and eyebrow tint, I ended up paying for 2 other services I didnt book). The stylist was rough and messy. When washing my hair, my entire back got SOAKED, shampoo got all in my ear. I left looking like a homeless crackhead. Now, after all the time spent growing my hair out, my ends are so damaged (regardless of the amount already cut off), I have to cut my hair again.. broke my soul. Thank you ULTA for crushing my spirit in regards to my hair. The rods kept snapping and having to be replaced during the actual (failed) perm process. I got solution on my face. When combed through at the sink, my hair stayed like that. Like a combed through wet rat, no curls. Stylist tried to dry my hair with the diffuser attachment in an attempt to make some curl appear. did - not - happen. my hair is already partially wavy when wet then straightens, so the perm did absolutely nothing except kill my hair (R.I.P), waste my time, waste my money, and force me to cut my hair again which I had absolutely no intentions of doing. What a self-esteem killer, thanks.Update: I went to a different salon to get the fried ends cut and was told my entire top layer is damaged from the perm attempt done at Ulta. Be careful who you go to for your hair.
