All the ladies at W.O.A.H. were fast and professional. I'm so happy they were able to fit us in last minute on the same day to help my poor old girl. They took great care of Tina (7yo. 108 lb Great Dane) from start to finish. Had us in and out in under an hour for a very reasonable price. Thank you ?

Dr. Dunn and Dr. Horner (and their staff) are the best!! Wouldn't take my animals anywhere else. I have a high stress dog and everyone is so caring to her.

After getting the first dog of my own Katia from a local rescue White Oak Animal Hospital has really been there for myself and my pup. She was diagnosed with a detached vein in her eye a few months in and White Oak set up a same day appointment in my opinion with the best k-9 eye surgeon on the East Coast. They were there for us the entire time even making sure she was comfortable on the trip there. As a first time dog owner they really took care of us and helped to ease my worries and anxiety during that situation. Also, next door at the training/play time center Katia has been attending every day for many months. They really do take care of the dogs there while I am at work, and it helped my pup to be a happy social dog who gets along with just about every fellow k-9 she meets, which makes taking her places in public stress free.

The doctors are almost always very nice and helpful, however we have consistently had problems with the office staff. They always have an attitude and seem to be impatient with us every time, also they gave me two different instructions to give medicine to my cat then ridiculed me the next time for not doing it the right way. They seem to have no patience for when my cats are uncomfortable in any situation. Sadly we have to search for a new vet, we are tired of having unpleasant experiences every time we visit.

I've been bringing all of my pets to White Oak for about 2 years. Went in for my visit, was told who my veterinarian would be. It's the same veterinarian that I have told White Oak AT LEAST twice that I do not want to see. I had stated I told you guys before I don't want to be seen by her, vet tech asked if I wanted a different vet and I said no it's fine I'll just make sure front desk is aware again before I leave. The vet tech went to the back and told them I was cussing at her. A different lady came in the room and said I would not be seen today and I needed to leave for cussing at her vet tech and being disrespectful. I used the f word to sentence enhance twice according to them. I believe it because I cuss but I wasn't directing it AT the vet tech and was totally shocked by this because I didn't even know I had cussed. I didn't raise my voice, cause a scene, or anything. I also stated that they too were being disrespectful by scheduling me with a veterinarian I had stated I didn't want to be seen by before. The lady told me there was no note of that on any of my pets records. HOWEVER, Im giving 2 stars because there are some wonderful veterinarians there like Dr. Pepper and Dr. Branson.

We just moved to the area and both our puppy and 13 year old dog have been there now! We LOVE this place! Dexter (white) got groomed and had a wellness checkup today & we are blown away by how great they did and how at ease he was when we picked him up! 10/10 would recommend!!!

White Oak Animal Hospital was fantastic from start to finish with helping me navigate the pet export process to travel with my small dog internationally. If you plan to PCS or move overseas with your pet, knowing the requirements thoroughly is vital, and I would highly recommend you call White Oak well in advance to ensure you have all your ducks in a row. Ashley, the office manager, really knows her stuff and is very familiar with the international pet shipping requirements. I was pleasantly surprised at her level of knowledge about my obscure need and I also really appreciated the vet and other staff’s caring demeanor and thorough approach to taking car of my dog. Highly recommend this affordable and excellent clinic!

Whenever you call ... just to make an appointment. You are left on hold for 20-30 minutes at a time. Front staff dont care.

I just tried to schedule an exam for my cat. I was informed that an appointment requires a $50 non refundable deposit. Just to MAKE the appointment. I asked if I had to cancel in the next couple of days, would I get that money back, and she said no, they keep it.I define that as stealing, considering you're booked out until next month. I wasn't asking if I cancelled less than 24 hours notice. My family used to use this vet exclusively and had to change after a move. I am extremely disappointed with this kind of business practice and will not be recommending it to anyone.

We have been taking our pets to White Oak Animal Hospital for many years. We have always been pleased with the care and attention provided. We have utilized veterinary care, surgery, grooming, and kenneling. We have always been pleased with the care of our pets. We have also unfortunately had to use their end-of-life services and experienced their love and compassion during such a difficult time. We highly recommend White Oak Animal Hospital for the care of your pets.

Our dog Mikey has had skin problems for years. Our former vet had moved. Then we tried another vet which wasn't a good match. Then we decided to try White Oak as we had boarded our dogs there do to an emergency trip out of town and was pleased. Thanks to Dr. Bell his elephant skin and yeast infection has cleared up. She explained the maintenance he needs to keep him from getting flair ups. He is one happy 12 year old puppy again. I truly appreciate the time Dr. Bell spent with us. The staff is wonderful and friendly. We finely have a new vet we trust!

My cat was struggling with hair loss and I needed to spay her. They got me in pretty quickly and were very nice. They took care of her and were very informative during the procedure calling me right after the procedure that she had made it through the procedure fine and was recovering. They were very patient with my cat being very scared and allowed me to do what we needed under anesthesia (I wasn't very good at getting the pill in her food). Since the procedure my cat has recovered her full coat of hair and even seems to be more playful. Dr. Skarbek is great very caring and very experienced in veterinary medicine, glad to have her looking after my little one!

The pictures attached to this review reflect this veterinary office's main focus...dogs. I've bought my cats to White Oak for 2 years and the last visit was it. One of my cats does not like being handled in any way, so every time I get a call from the vet for me to bring her back when she calms down. If she needs to be sedated to get tests done, I understand the risks. She will never calm down. It's always "Bring her back." The final straw was this last visit when I walked in for my appointment (on time) and several pets, who came in after me, were taken back before me. I guess they only have one doctor that takes cats? I never experienced that before. I had to go back to the front desk and ask if anyone knows I'm here. I get in the appointment and I ask for her to be sedated for her urinalysis, the doctor said she didn't have much urine in her bladder but I can leave her and they will give her calming medicine and see if her urine builds up. Two hours later, I get a call saying she was not cooperating and they can give me a kit to collect her unsterile urine and if the urine comes back with high protein, then they will sedate her for a urinalysis. The decision was left in my hands, so I said ok. That is on me when I should've demanded the urinalysis. I go to pick her up and I'm sitting there for 30 minutes while they take other pets back (all dogs). I asked where she was since nothing was done and I was told, "When we are done with [another customer's] his dog, we'll have someone bring her out." This person's dog had a heartworm test and shots. He was out of the door before me. I was so irritated beyond measure. BUT the same person who told me they will bring her out after the dog made sure she came out in a jiffy to get paid! I paid $55 for the vet to check her heartbeat, drug her up, give me a kit for me to do their job, and nothing else. When we got home, my cat was so drugged up, she couldn't walk straight. She just laid in my arms. This made me extremely furious as I'm wondering why they didn't do anything while they had her in such a state! Why drug her up and not work to get the urine? If you are looking for a vet to take care of your cat, I would not recommend this office. I'm trying out another office tomorrow and hopefully, this office would be better. Now if you have dogs...maybe you would be fine. You can tell they prefer dogs by how they address the pets and owners when they come in.
