American Legion Giles B Cook Post 53 is a wonderful and great place with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and genuine smiles. It is located in a beautiful town in the Shenandoah valley. The post has cold beer and a small but tasty menu of great food. It does a lot to help veterans. There is something going on almost every evening, including Bingo on Mondays. It features a nice banquet hall for rent for functions. The atmosphere is noted as having cigarette smoke. Visitors can bring their own liquor while the post provides the mixers. It is a place where many feel at home and can relax.

Great place good food and it does alot to help veteran's. Bingo on mondays!!! And a nice banquet hall for rent. Have your next function here and its right in town. Handicap accessible.

Amy was a great bartender and the other members were very friendly and welcoming! Very nice that we could bring our own liquor and they provide the mixers. It’s always a pleasure to visit the local post everywhere we travel.
