“I had a flat tire, and while it’s not a totally new experience, it’s definitely one of those awkward moments where I was left searching for a solution. Thankfully, McCarthy Tire Service stepped in and helped me weigh my options. Homer, in particular, has excellent customer service! He was honest about their schedule and even recommended competitors for quicker service, which speaks volumes about his integrity. I tried calling the competition, but they didn’t answer, so I stuck with McCarthy, and I’m glad I did.
Homer helped coordinate a towing company (Midway Towing—also great!) and knew how to manage everything like a true pro. Once my car was towed in, Homer worked with me to find the most affordable solution. The service was absolutely ? stellar! In just a day, my flat was fixed, because I drove away with new tires and an alignment that I was considering, too.

“I dropped my van off to fix a TCS and ABS light on the dashboard. After a few days I kept trying to call and nobody would ever answer the phone I got discouraged the only find out on my phone I had it set so my number would not be displayed. Totally my fault. I'm glad Charlie's smarter than I am LOL because I had my van to the dealership two other garages tons of money later and nobody could get the lights off. Charlie went the extra mile to find up under the dashboard a wire rubbing on something. And he was able to get the lights off and get it inspected! He really had to go the extra mile to find that needle in a haystack. I really repeat appreciate a mechanic that's willing to go the extra mile. He really does care about his customers and service. They've fixed everything from the differential, to the a/c, to fixing up the stuff I had messed up on the ball joint. I've brought them multiple cars over the years. Recently I asked them to put on some aftermarket parts, and they did a great job on that too!! Very trustworthy auto shop, they have always communicated well with me and provided a great product in a reasonable time at a reasonable price.”

“Trustworthy! Grandchild was driving one of our cars back to college and power steering went out near Front Royal. Called Midway for towing, talked to Brian for assessment. Repairs completed, grandchild returned for car, drove it for a few weeks and ps pump that was replaced failed again. I replaced it again at home this time. Brian sent me a check for the failed pump. Pretty decent treatment from someone I've never met! Would have been 5 stars if the repaired pump hadn't failed.”
“I had driven my antique car to VA from NJ for my sons wedding. Sure enough, the car died on the way to the wedding. I had the car towed to Rick's Saturday, left in in their lot, and had to return home Sunday. I spoke with Mark at Rick's on Monday, and explained the situation. He and his team could not have been nicer, and immediately made me comfortable with my 1957 Chevy being in their hands. They were top notch in every way, super professional, and took care of the car like it was their own. Great communication, and the price was remarkably more than fair. My only regret is that I do not live closer to be able to give them more business. These would absolutely be my go to guys!”
“my husband's mini cooper had a leak from the sunroof. the drain was clogged so water was leaking into the floor on the drivers side of the car when it rained. Sterling did a terrific job! and affordable. the fancy mini cooper place in Warrenton, VA didn't even want to deal with the car. thought it would be too much to fix. Sterling knew right away what to do! they were recommended to us by Service Tire in Front Royal.”

“Best mechanic ever has worked on every vehicle I’ve ever owned replace the brakes on the Rx8 diagnose, Random problem on my genesis repair the oil lines that Valvoline broke on my RAV4. Also recently just put an alternator on my RAV4. All work was done at an excellent price. 10 stars.”

It’s first come first serve so there might be a wait if someone is ahead of you but they will get you out of there as quick as they can. My personal go to tire shop in town!”
“Super fun place. The creek is full of critters. Fishing is solid. No racoons or bears to bother you. They lose a star because that bridge is deafening at 2 A.M. try to arrive early and get a site as far from the entrance as possible”
