Crystal gave my now almost 4 year old daughter her first haircut around 2 years old. She's the only person who has cut my daughter's hair since. She shares helpful advice for upkeep and maintenance. We were in recently, and I showed her a picture of how I wanted my daughter's hair cut (we were looking for something shorter and easier to care for) and she completely nailed it! Not to mention, my daughter feels comfortable around her and she always goes the extra mile to make my daughter feel like a princess, which is super sweet. They always make time to fit clients in. I'd recommend Crystal and all the other ladies at the salon in a heartbeat.

Have had traumatic experience
with over use of thinning shears in the past only to have it confirmed by repetition here to excess. As I was talking to her, after the “haircut“ Krystal thinned out several huge chunks from the back of my head before consulting me as I was talking to her. Mind you I get a haircut once or twice a year
and it did hurt as she went dangerously close to my scalp at back of head as I panicked inside (I never let anyone touch my hair with them normally unless merely blending the ends) yet maybe 3 seconds later big chunk after chunk I now have many clumps of short spikey hairs less than half an inch to an inch long that will take me years to get back. For warning this is the type of hairdresser who does absolutely nothing you ask of them. I put too much trust in her and should have said stop as she picked the shears up. I have thick hair and went in for long layers and explained countless times how much the fullness mattered to me as it doesn’t grow as it once did and I got Wiley coyote instead consisting of point cut and butchered afterwards with shears which if I wanted that, I could’ve done it myself as that’s how we do horses manes and yet never that close to the folicle. I can’t run my fingers through my hair without feeling huge missing choppy chunks at my scalp. Pray for me y’all as it’s gonna be a true rats nest as these hairs start trying to come back. Already can’t put it up without wanting to cry feeling the stubble, it’s like half my head is gone in all the wrong ways and my scalp still hurts.
I honestly feel like a Barbie that the wrong kid got a hold of. Beware. Will only trust close family/friend hairdressers again from now on. You won’t catch me getting my hair cut around here EVER again.

I was a walk in and needed root touchup and didn’t expect to be able to get in. Crystal took me and said she would fit me in. She looked at my hair and with confidence told me she could fix my roots. I’ve been so blessed to meet such an awesome group of ladies at this Salon. I will definitely be going here from now on! See you next time Crystal!

I booked an appointment for my girlfriend's birthday, I called back and changed the appointment time. (because I'm a guy and often told I don't listen) All of this on the same day, and at a moments notice.(See above for reason it was last minute)The birthday girl was extremely satisfied and looked spectacular.She was absolutely satisfied and was grinning ear to ear.

I go here and get my hair cut by Heather Furr, she is the best for me. The others are good also. They are very affordable. I would highly recommend.

Desiree Cook is hands down the best Barber in the area. And she is diverse in cutting all types of hair. Especially ethnic hair. So if you find yourself in need and you're in the Front Royal area. Give her a call and make an appointment

I love this place!! I hadn’t been to a salon in years & I decided it was time. When I called they got me in same day, I ended up seeing Crystal & this lady was amazing, I showed her what I wanted & she did it perfectly. I won’t go anywhere else. Desire (I’m sorry if I Spelled that wrong) was so sweet, my phone wouldn’t let me call my bf to come get me & she happily handed me her phone. Horrible keeping their appointments (they know it) and wasting your time. I arrived about 5 minutes early for an appointment and after waiting another 15-20 more minutes I finally walked out. Not the first time I waited for a long period of time but it's my last. Sticking with the Blue Ridge Barber shop just around the back of the building. If you like to read books or surf on your cell, bring it and Be. You. Tiful Salon is your place to go. Just don't be in a hurry to be somewhere else.

Couldn’t ask for a better person or place to do my 2 kids and myself a hair. Desi has been doing mine and my kids hair for years and refuse to see anyone else. Have recently got my mom and grandma to go to her as well and they now will only see her!! This salon is always so clean and beautiful and the people that work there are so sweet and nice. My son is 9 and daughter is 4 and their Desi is their Desi and NO ONE will replace her!! Keep up the great work guys!! We will forever be customers!!Services: Haircut

Everything I absolutely adore Crystal I always go in like a ugly sister and come out feeling like Cinderella ❤️ the atmosphere is so welcoming and relaxing my mom had her hair done here before she went back to England and she looks amazing she was so happy ? oh did I say I LOVE LOVE LOVE it I recommend it highly ?

Crystal was amazing! Took my first break away from home for some self care after having a baby a couple months ago. Crystal took her time, communicated, and made my hair cut exactly what I wanted, but even better. I walked out feeling good. Highly recommend her!
