As a rule, we don't go to Dollar General - corporate doesn't pay their employees a living wage & would rather pay off fines than abide by OSHA regulations. But we were hundreds of miles from home on a school/work road trip so here we were, needing certain things, knowing Dollar General would have them for a reasonable price, not having time to hunt things down at multiple stores. We were greeted several times, my husband rattled off the things we needed & we were immediately showed exactly where they were, the cashier at checkout was friendly, & POOF, we were on our way. They even helped us find ice as this DG location doesn't sell any. GREAT staff, so helpful, we are so grateful. ✌️

I overheard someone say that the employees are not allowed to leave tomorrow unless everything is put away. I feel bad for the employees who will be working there.
