The staff were really nice and helpful, but that’s about the only upside. I was on a long road trip and was searching for somewhere to sleep when I stumbled across this place. The woman at the front desk was very kind: check-in was fine. I went to my room, set my stuff down, and pulled down the bed covers. There was a roach. I then went into the bathroom and flipped on the light: a couple roaches scattered and crawled into a broken base board. The bathroom was also rather grungy: hair in the bathtub, grime or dirt of some sort on the floor. I went and asked for another room and told the staff what happened. They were very nice about it and got me another room. The second room was even more dirty: hair in the bathtub and sink, really dirty floor, dirty microwave and refrigerator, and a lot of dust throughout the room. I could only sleep about 4 hours, as I was paranoid that a surprise roach would crawl on me during the night. I checked in around 10:30 pm, laid down around 11:45, and checked out at 5am. I was grossed out and figured I should just leave.

It was a place to sleep. But if you're looking for clean floors or comfort this isn't the place. The bathroom floor was covered in dirt and had clumps of something on it.
The beds duvets hadn't been cleaned in some time, you could see fresh grossness or old grossness ...however it wasn't pleasant.
And the smell....
If you need a place it's a place, but.

Clean and comfortable. Loved the hard floors rather than carpet. Pet friendly is a big plus. Breakfast was very limited but adequate - just cereal, pancakes and toast. Apples were a nice touch. Friendly staff. I would certainly stay again and recommend it as a good value.

The location was great. It was right, next to Shenandoah and a great jumping off point. As for the hotel it was safe and our room was nice. Shower creaked alot but otherwise we were satisfied by the hotel. It is a budget hotel and we were happy with the value.
Nearby activities: Shenandoah is 10 min away.

Booked a room for a friend 8/21-8/22. My friend scanned his ID and was denied service, meaning he did not get access to the room. He was told I would get a refund. I’ve called 4 different times over the last month to try and speak to the manager about my refund. Each time the lady, Leanne, has been very helpful. She tells me she’s talked to and left notes for the manager. Still no call back or refund for the room. At this point it looks like I need to physically go in to even get the manager to talk to me. 0/10 service from the manager of this location. I’ll be contacting corporate as well. I have all the receipts and phone calls.

This hotel was not bad, considering what you pay, and that is how I rate properties. Overall, the room was clean and comfortable, and there were no bugs. The bed was also comfortable and it was very quiet. My only complaint about the room was that the creamer and sugar packets for the coffee machine inside the room were hard as rocks. They were no longer in powder form. I presume they were stale. In any event, I did not use them. For breakfast, be aware that there is no protein and no fruit. No eggs, sausages, etc. But, for what I paid, I can’t complain. Overall, ,I would stay there again given the price point.
