The branch on Ft Belvoir were excellent. Moe was great and Eddy stepped in to finalize things. I couldn’t be happier with the whole staff, who all went the extra mile for customer service. Highly recommend their service’s to family and friends.

On April 19th, 2023, I applied for a credit card with PenFed and I was approved. I completed the additional paper work needed along with making a deposit to meet all the requirements. Today is May 22nd, 2023 and I have NOT received my credit card.After numerous calls on:April 28thMay 3rdMay 10thMay 19thMay 22ndPenFed can't seem to get me a credit card. This has been the WORST 1st time experience with a credit union. At this point, I can NOT recommend doing business with this credit union. This is not a good way to start a banking relationship. I think I will need to take my business elsewhere at this point.Again, I can NOT recommend doing business with PenFed.

The recent changes in banking hours of most banks today creates a problem for those of us who have for years gone thru a non-ATM DriveThru and banking inside of branch offices. It is a big adjustment to adapt to the new system of banking with cell phones and ATMs and reviews reflect the frustration. I find the Fort Belvoir branch to be doing a good job with the resources offered to them. I prefer to go into the bank!

PenFed helped me with a personal loan that I am very happy with. The local credit union denied me. PenFed was more than willing to give me the loan and offer me a credit card. I recommend them to everyone!

Watch out for issues if you are considering using PFCU for an equity loan! Appears they are using a new platform for customer interface, and boy does it have issues! My current statement shows a balance of $0.01 and an amount due of over $ 100.00. A call to the for questions number gets you an I'll schedule you a callback from a supervisor. Still waiting for the call scheduled on 1/12. Avoid doing business with them like the plaque!

Terrible, reason I signed up for an account here cause I work on base. These people are rude, didn't even let me know and ran my credit. Their staff are not very knowledgeable and rude rude than any other banks.
