I’ve been a Best Buy customer for almost 20 years. Today was my last purchase. I purchased two phones which were supposed to be unlocked which arrived carrier locked. When you call customer service, they tell you that you can return it to the store. Waste my time going to the store for the representative to tell me they do not accept returns since it’s technically the wrong item even though it’s the same phone. After several calls to customer service they finally take the side of the store and send me a shipping label. Now I have to go out of my way again to ship the items back to them. But turns out I have to pay extra to box the items since the two phones were sent in separate boxes. I called customer service again to let them know and they said they can’t do anything about it and to try to tape the boxes together somehow. Just terrible service all around. No accommodations for the customer, and only excuses when it’s Best Buy's fault in the first place that the order was not correct. They need to do something about the online ordering process and how returns are handled if they want to compete with other online ordering companies that handle these situations much better than they do.

MAJOR DISTRUST FLAG….
Geek Squad lacks communication between themselves and customer..Left my phone there to be checked out for something simple in their field..During a week course, I called multiple times for an outdated about my situation, no response or can’t get through…After 1 week I did a in-store visit..Now they are saying that they can’t find my phone and have no clue if they shipped it off to Apple…
1. Why can’t you do a call back update with 72hrs?…plenty of time..
2. Need a in store number..
3. Need to be organized better in the back room..
4. They keep taking my info down…YOU SHOULD ALREADY HAVE ALL THAT..3x
……1st and last time….only buying from BestBuy and not giving GeekSqaud my attention…

Horrible service. The guy hung up on me when I was asking for help with a dash cam that wasn't recording. He asked me if they installed it and I told him I did. He then basically called me an idiot and hung up. The best buy in stafford had much better service. They closed the wrong store

After purchasing an “Open Box, Exellent Condition” television that came with a broken screen, without a remote, and missing screws for the stand from a different Best Buy location, I purchased a brand new Hisense U8n from this store because it was the only one available anywhere close enough for me to drive to (although over an hour away from my house). Though it said “available in one hour” it was not ready until the following day. When I picked it up, the box had been opened but the manager (Mit) told his employees to give it to me anyway, and that it was fine. When I opened it at home, there was no remote, no power cable, no stand. Just the tv, with a screen covered in smudgy handprints like a child had been playing with it. My local store would not accept the return, forcing me to drive all the way back out to this one. Customer service assured me the manager would compensate me for the inconvenience, hopefully with a discount on a different tv since this was the only tv of my preferred model available anywhere in the area. The manager (this time not Mit) told me only customer service could offer discounts. Customer service then told me managers had the autonomy to set their prices, and sent me back to the manager who told me he would love to help, but had no control. However, he promised to call me the following day with an explanation for my troubling experience and to work out free delivery on a different tv (which was not an altruistic offer as free shipping is standard on purchases at that price, just about everywhere). Of course, he did not bother to reach out to me in the following days. The TV has gone up more than $200 since my initial purchase. I will not be returning to this, or any other Best Buy.

This is one of th least efficient stores in the area. Ordered online, waited for 20 minutes in the line to pick up only to be told the item isn’t available anymore. Had to return an unopened item told that the return policy is only 2 weeks… how can these brick and mortar stores compete with the e-commerce world with such a terrible service and policies.

Getting in touch with the store u purchased something from is impossible. If they you and you try to call them back it won’t happen. They called me and I missed the call and tryed calling them back and there call
Center in another county told me was impossible to talk to someone In any store

bought a dishwasher 10 days ago. paid their outrageous prices for delivery [that were subcontracted to a 3rd party. I remember best buy doing their own installs 10 years ago] and install.
only to have the installers tell me they cant do it bc best buy didn't put a proper cover on it. a tiny, small cover that would've taken 30 seconds
I'm glad the CEO saved shareholders 5c/share by contracting it out!

My son was searching for a specific pair of headphones, and the staff at Best Buy in Gainesville were very helpful in providing him with all the information he needed. He found an offer on their website, and when he visited the store, they suggested that he make the purchase online with the option to pick them up at the store since the offer was available online only. He followed their advice, got the discount, and was able to buy his headphones. They have a happy and satisfied customer.

The place had a moderate amount of customers in it and still there were employees finding the time to make their way to them and make sure if they needed any help or point them in the right direction. Unfortunately, they were out of stock for the item I wanted, but I would still go back for any future electronics I need.

This Best Buy is pretty good for a Best Buy. I was in and out in about 10 minutes, but I knew what I wanted. The negative is it being a Best Buy in general, but I'd say this one is worth the trip if it's something you need to do.
