I unfortunately had a horrendous experience here from start to finish. I had made an appointment for a pedicure and was taken ten minutes after (this is no big deal if it was the only thing that went wrong). When I was sat down, a towel was put in my lap that was clearly dirty and had chipped nails all over it. When I told one of the workers she took it and gave me a new one without any type of apology (even though that was extremely disgusting). The worker who started working on my nails was removing my existing gel polish off very aggressively with the electric file and ended up cutting my skin which evidently caused me pain and bleeding. Again, no apology (this was a different worker), she continued but I was in a lot of pain so I politely asked her to stop and dry me off so I can leave but she continued to disregard me several times. When I ended up leaving was when she apologized but it was just one bad thing after another with no consideration or regard. Horrible experience and I absolutely wouldn't recommend this place.

They were very nice & accommodating, but the lady that did my feet (older woman) did not do a good job. I kinda wish I did my own feet, because I would at *least* file down my toe nails.
In addition to not filing or getting rid of callus skin or cuticles properly, my nail polish chipped within a day. I won’t be coming back.

THEY DELETE REVIEWS. im so disappointed it was my first time getting my nails done here since im new to virginia and i was so excited. i asked her for simple full set with straight square shape and this is what i got. i asked if she could shape them better and she barley tried and told me to just keep putting it under the light. $67 later and i waited so long to get my nails done. very very sad

I had Nina as my nail tech, and she did an amazing job. This set only took a little over an hour to complete, and she did a great job on being extremely precise with the shaping of my nails. I highly recommend her

I did an acrylic nails removal on both my hands at this place. The process is very painful. After they are done, my fingers have bloody wounds and other scratch marks. This place still has the audacity to charge me after the painful process and left me with bloody fingers. I consent to this place to touch my hands but I didn’t consent to butcher my hands. The staff did not bother to clean the wound first, just straight up dump some white powder over the wound. Will not visit again and encourage all of you to avoid this place.

I Love this place. I have been going here for 10 years. Heidi is the owner who does my nails. Emma and Nena do the BEST design.

Alas, the search for my new nail spot is still on. I was disappointed after reading great reviews in a local FB group and having the experience I did. Sure, the staff was pleasurable, the location was clean and I do like the "basic" pedicure perks. Unfortunately, That doesn't live on my nails for the next few weeks. Background: My nails grow out fairly fast but I like them short. So, you have a lot to work with initially, but once you cut it's done. I am a regular dip nail person and I assume (you know what they say about assuming) that the shape "rounded oval" is not too difficult to get; I would go as far to say a safe option. My experience went south after the nails were cut and were already being shaped. I noticed my middle fingers were both being shaped pointed out (yes, the bon qui qui skit went straight to mind) and my fingers, at least these ones are NOT crooked. I think it had to do with the tech sitting in the middle and filing away from her. Anyway, I bring this up to the tech and she says that my fingers go out and she is following that line. I tell the tech I have never had that issue with those fingers before (sometimes the pointers get this issue) but that the technique used to shape the nails makes it look like my two fingers are crooked. She didn't understand and even went to file the same side that was the issue. I say no it needs to be the other side. Then someone who must be more seasoned came over and they discussed different techniques and even asked if she was doing the almond shape. The tech said yes to the shape and applied the techniques. The nails wound up straight, but much shorter than I wanted and much more narrow on certain nails because 70% were almond, 20% were rounded and 10% were misc. At this point, it is what it is. I should just go with the square oval shape which is more safe but they break easier. I am frustrated because I went in with long nails that were a great canvas and ended up with different shaped nails that make my fingers look stumpy. I don't know if other services are better so if you want to shoot your shot, have at it. Many people came in for appointments with Emma, so maybe try her.Update: because it’s so close to my house I was like “let’s give it another shot.” Worst idea ever! I am now with multiple kids and work full time so my time is very limited and haven’t gotten my nails done in 9 months! So treat myself. Wrong. I get a pedicure which wasn’t even complicated but it sure seemed like it was. Then I asked for dip chrome red nails. You would think I asked for the moon! Am I wrong or is chrome not popular? They tried to make a concoction for i kid you not 30 minutes just for them to show me pink nails every time. On top of that she either didn’t ask for help or no one was willing to help her figure it out. Either way that seems toxic. I had to walk out. Guess I’ll be sticking to painting my own nails since I lost the little time I had to get my nails done.

I got gelx nails with a chrome gel design and am obsessed. I also got gel toes and my mom got a dip manicure. I love how detailed they were with the nail polish/dip and love the look of my nails! I wish she dug in deeper for my ingrown nail but that’s my only feedback. My mom liked that they did a great job of removing her cuticles on her nails. I would definitely go back!

Daughter went in for a gel dip for HOCO. We had a long wait even with an appointment. Her technician seemed to be rushed with how busy the salon was and sadly in the end her once gorgeous long nails were butchered into crooked witch nails and excessive filing on the sides enough to make her fingers tender. Then not 24hrs later after a shower the dip bubbled and peeled off. Needless to say for $52 before tip we will not be returning.

Super fast and professional! My fiancé and I visited here yesterday to get my first manicure in over a decade and my fiancé's first ever. We scheduled an appointment and were seated next to each other :) My fiancé's technician was so kind and asked him multiple times if he was experiencing any pain or discomfort. My technician was so patient with me as I picked out 5 different nail polishes (one for each nail) and had me all painted with a matte top coat in under an hour! My only issue is some of the paint is a little thin on my ring and middle finger nails and I can see my nail through it in some spots. Other than that, I love my nails - thank you La Vie!
