I visited the Lazy Boy store in Gainesville while shopping for a new couch for my home. During my visit, I noticed that one of the employees had her child with her at work. I asked the person assisting me if that was normal, and he said that she brings her child in when she has him.Personally, I found that very unprofessional for a company like Lazy Boy to allow. It made me uncomfortable as a customer, and I decided to leave without completing my purchase. Having a child present in a professional retail environment just doesn’t seem appropriate. I don’t recommend shopping here.

I spent well over 12k on a leather sectional just over a year ago. I bought a 5 year service plan apparently that only covers the power, not anything else with the couch. There’s a place on the left armrest in the back corner, where the padding head either not been placed or fell through and I just noticed it, but since I am two months outside of the one year covered timeframe, and even though it’s a manufactured defect, La-Z-Boy will not stand by their product and fix the issue. They want to charge for labor and parts. This will be the last time I ever do business with La-Z-Boy. Store associates have no clue on warranty information
