The excuses are getting old! “ it just came in on the truck and will not be ready until” or “someone deleted your order by mistake”. But the website says it can be ready for pick up in a day. Dont trust online orders!

This a particular review for Gavin, Head Cashier @ Lowe’s Gainesville VA. While I went through a difficult, arduous process trying to get a refrigerator that didn’t have a defect or damage, Gavin worked with me to exchange and upgrade refrigerators to find one that kept my food cold and didn’t have other defects. Lowe’s uses an outside contractor for deliveries which has known issues; however, in the future Lowe’s may return to an in-house delivery system. Back to Gavin, he has super professional communication skills, including listening carefully to the issues and working to find a mutually satisfying solution. I was pleasantly surprised at how at ease he is communicating with older customers. And his work ethic is amazing; whenever there is a frustrated customer, Gavin is called in to assist. He’s super busy, helpful, and kind. It makes me feel confident about the next generation if they are anything like Gavin.

Placed an order for a new Master BathCountertop. It was measured wrong and installed but we are still waiting for the correct one to be installed. Phone calls to the store have gone unanswered.

Came in for plastic wrap and a gentleman in a aisle greeted me and asked how he can help me, in today's world that's everything to me, now a days people lack customer service or don't want to deal with other humans, this guy stepped up to me and helped me instantly, I really appreciate that.

Customer service is horrendous. 5 employees standing around chatting about weekend plans, crushes, drama and Starbucks orders while several customers stand around waiting for help. We ordered a grill which the incorrect one was delivered. Customer service passed us around to multiple employees before we finally got to Gavin! If I was rating him alone I'd give him 5 stars. Trust me if you can find a young man named Gavin just go directly to him for help. Thank you for your excellent customer service Gavin and I'm sorry you probably have to clean up your coworkers messes all the time!

Had a horrible experience at the Gainesville Lowes. Contacted Customer Service Associate Shean about a microwave with peeling on the front handle. He said I could bring it back to the store for a replacement. Took it to the store, but Assistant Manager Jason was rude and unwilling to address our complaint. Businesses should provide good customer service and address concerns. They need to learn customer service from the Home Depot.

I ordered a sliding door and screen, specifically confirmed that the order was ready to be delivered, then paid Lowes $79 for delivery, only to find out that Lowes did not deliver the screen, so I had to pay another $50 to our contractor to get the screen. When I talked to Lowes workers, instead of admitting their mistake, they wanted to charge another $79. Thanks Lowes, great service!

Silvia in customer service was awesome to help in adjusting the price as she knew what needs to be done and what was my right to get it adjusted. She was very professional and friendly. I had a bad experience prior to interacting with her. Silvia knows what it means to be in customer service, others need to learn from her that customer service is for customer, not for showing your attitudes.

I have been shopping at this Lowe's for about 7 years. Yesterday I had the pleasure of working with an employee who far exceeded my expectations Mr. David Corona. I'll start off by sharing a not so good experience shortly before David arrived: I was in the lumber section needing to buy some of the biggest and heaviest posts they sell (6x6x16') and noticed that they had parked a fork lift in front of the section holding the posts. Two employees were walking by me when I flagged them down and told them I need to get two of those huge posts can you please move the forklift. One of them jumped in the fork lift, backed it up, and to my shock they both just walked away leaving me to lift a 6x6x16 post by myself onto my lumber cart (mind you these posts are about 150 pounds or heavier if they are still wet). I started to try and wrestle one on my own and about 30 seconds later David Corona comes walking around the corner, sees me, and immediately asks if he could help me load the lumber to which I graciously accept! This in and of itself was excellent customer service especially after being left by two other employees that could have easily helped me but Mr. Corona wasn't done, he insisted on staying with me the entire time as I continued to load other smaller pieces of lumber for my project - even after I told him that the smaller pieces I should be able to handle by myself - he kept with me and made it a lot faster and easier to pick out good pieces of lumber and get loaded up. He then accompanied me to check out and helped me get everything loaded up on my trailer. 5-Star A+ customer service, this guy needs a bonus or a raise - he has good character and great work ethic. Lowe's, do yourself a favor and don't let him get away - get him promoted and working up the ranks as he will be a valuable asset.

My husband and I went in to purchase a dishwasher. After the worst customer service from Tur, and Thomas we decided to ask for help in customer service. Brooke and Luisa were the only helpful associates who tried their best to help us. After an hour for something that should have been so simple, we left because they couldn’t find our Lowe’s account, even after we were told over the phone that we could just be looked up in the system while at the store. Thomas definitely saw that we needed assistance and that his co worker was lost but could care less to help him or us. He was actually really rude to the ladies who helped us in customer service. We will definitely not come back to this location because it was a horrible mess.

Please dont open any credit with this lows store they will give you false information to trick you. I called the manager she is uneducated women who doesn't know how to handle and hang-up the phone instead of helping? The only way I find out it was from the credit company that if I don't pay I will get charged interst 26.99% the lows team said its 12 months finance. Terrible customer service the manager needs to be fired for misinformation that she is giving. Ans her team. I will this off and never coming back.

What a disappointment. Ordered my dishwasher from them last week (wed) and was told it at a distribution center in DC. I was told at time of order it would arrive at their location Monday and then I would be able to get the install scheduled. Well it never showed up--then I was told it was supposed to arrive yesterday ---and now they are saying Thursday. So I paid for this dishwasher and install IN FULL and it hasn't even been sent to their location yet. I'm about to ask for a refund and go buy it somewhere else.

Let me just start by saying after this home renovation is done and i have all the material come in that i have ordered through the Gainesville Lowes location i will never shop at a Lowes again. I write this review while sitting on hold yet again for almost 30 minutes. Yesterday i tried calling and all they would do is transfer me to a different department where i would sit on hold just to get hung up on after 10-20 minutes. I have spent a great amount of money on building materials and appliances at this Lowes just to be stressed and aggravated when things show up wrong or come damaged. I recently placed an order that was over 7 thousand dollars just to find out a day later that they have no tracking info nor did they even see the sale in there system after charging my card already. This store is poorly managed and needs to be ran more efficiently because they are loosing tons of clients and money. I will continue my business and material ordering from Home Depot from now on. Oh yeah and I’m still “On Hold”. Have a good day and take my advice, avoid this location if you are a business or home renovator and need more than simple small items.
