Goddard has played a huge role in nurturing both of my children's growth and development. Their program has really helped their motor, language, and problem-solving skills, and we’ve seen huge improvements in these areas in both of them since joining Goddard. The teachers also so clearly have a genuine love for learning and for the children and my kids LOVE seeing their teachers and coming to school everyday. Witnessing my children’s grow and develop at Goddard, and build the relationships they have has been incredibly rewarding. The Goddard staff has created an atmosphere where children feel encouraged to explore, express themselves, and take on new challenges with self-assurance. Overall, Goddard's commitment to child development has surpassed my expectations, making it an wonderful choice for any parent seeking a school that prioritizes not only education but also the overall well-being and confidence of their child. Thank you Goddard!

Our daughter has been at Goddard since she was 6 months old and just turned 3! It is incredible how much she has learned and her ability to carry a conversation, which often has us forgetting that she is only 3! The teachers are amazing, and you can tell how much they genuinely care about the kids. Every class transition is bittersweet because while we are happy to advance in the curriculum, we are sad to leave the sweet teachers behind! In addition to the wonderful teaching staff, the admin team is great, and so approachable. The same rings true for the owners who are on-site daily and always welcome parent feedback. The fun events the school hosts throughout the year are an added bonus. We are so grateful to be a part of the Goddard community!

We have had all three of our kids go to Goddard, and our two youngest are still there. The admin staff and teachers are always welcoming and responsive, and the school is very well cared for and secure. Our kids love going to school and have fun learning, which is the most important part to us.

Having done research around the area we picked Goddard to look after our daughter and it's been the best decision we have made. They are thorough in their reporting, they get to know every child and their family, and I trust that my baby is safe with them. Ms. Wafa, Ms. Sharlisa, Ms. Marisa & Ms. Jocey have all been amazing educators and overall wonderful people. We plan on enrolling our son in the new year and can't wait to see him thrive in such a loving environment.

The staff here are fully invested in the development of my child. Their safe practices and cleanliness is what I expect from a facily and they go above and beyond to keep me updated on anything going on in the school. The front office staff especially Ms.Kaity are super friendly and always willing to help if anything arises. This school is what every other early learning center should strive for. The owners have an amazing facility and amazing staff. I love all the events they put on for families and the care they put into every interaction with my two kids.

My daughter went here for 2/3 years. She was part time and it’s amazing how much she learned and took in! They took great care of her and I felt so comfortable while she was there as well. I think this school really focuses on early education very well! It was above and beyond clean and safe. If you’re a parent and looking here, I HIGHLY recommend it.

We couldn't be happier. Our daughter had been to a Primrose facility before moving to Haymarket. After some research and online tours, we decided that here, Goddard would be the best match for our family. Turns out it was a great decision! While we were never actually unhappy with the daycare she went to before, we can tell by how smooth the transition was that the personal care for each child is amazing. From day one, our daughter has spoken positively about her teachers and remembered their names. She comes home often showing us Yoga poses or singing songs we haven't heard before. What we love most, other than the great teachers, is the responsiveness and professionalism of the entire staff. Someone always picks up the phone and is able to address any concern we may have. If someone promises to get back to us, they actually do so, and in a very timely manner. The parent app actually gets used and we get several good images daily and detailed information about our daughter's day. We hope to be able to stay here for a while!

I love that my daughter is attending school, and not a daycare at Goddard! She is receiving an excellent education at such an early age which will allow her to be successful when she enters kindergarten! The teachers at Goddard have all been amazing and the care my daughter receives is outstanding.

Review Part #2After speaking to other moms whose kids have been going to this day care, we decided to pull out our child. One of the moms mentioned that last year her daughter had FIVE teachers changed in one class!!! And since the pandemic the care is not the same, the teachers are just careless and of course, they will not tell you in the office that they have a huge staff turnover. In the end, our child was in this day care for only 4 half days. We paid a one time application fee of $175 plus we wrote a check for $2,035 and received a refund check for ONLY $766!!!! Seriously???? Per their contract, they deducted for additional 2 weeks! I would understand that if my child would be going there for a year or even several months and I would just pull him out without any notice, then sure, go ahead and charge me for additional 2 weeks, but for 4 half days and such a careless, irresponsible, and disappointing experience, why do I have to pay for it??? These franchises just don’t care as long as they get your money… Right now we found an awesome daycare that is not a franchise and we are very happy with it. Our son comes home every day with a smile and not with red cried out eyes, and we know that he is in good hands there. I guess, whatever happens, happens for a reason, but man, not for $1,500!!! I normally do not leave reviews, only when I’m super impressed with a service or very disappointed. Unfortunately, in this case, the Goddard School of Gainesville and its staff were a disappointment to us, and I hope this review will prevent other families from having such a bad experience like ours. It came up as a very long review but hopefully, you’ve read it until the end. Let me tell you just one more thing, if you want to send your child to Goddard School of Gainesville, please DO NOT! There are so many other great schools around that will take care of your child much better than in this careless school.

We are so grateful to have the opportunity to send our 2 and 4 year old to Goddard. we have been through 3 other schools in the area and Goodard of Gainesville has been a godsend with peace of mind and their development.I am amazed how my 4 year old has grown to love school, he asks to go and loves to share his learning at home. The staff is compassionate, attentive and very knowledgeable on education & methods to achieve goals. The school is very clean, organized and inviting. They also have a gym and the kids love to exercise their motor skills on various equipment and especially nice to know they can get a lot of exercise when the weather is not conclusive to outside play. The daily reports are plentiful and detailed so you can follow along with what the kids do in their classes.I also love that Goodard is a STEM forward curriculum that challenges kids to think, and problem solve. In just 4 months my 4 year old has learned so much and will be very prepared & confident for Kindergarten. You will not be disappointed.

My son initially loved it here but as the class size grew the experience deteriorated. The teacher told my son that he was not allowed to get up during lunch so he had multiple accidents in his pants. The poop was wrapped up in the pants and put directly into his backpack next to his lunch box, clean clothes, and pillow. We have had several pieces of his belongings lost or damaged. As the class size has grown, there is less physical space for each child, less materials to go around, and the teacher struggles to monitor the children. My son has come home with physical injuries three days in a row. When my son tries to tell other kids to leave him alone, they don't listen, and the teacher is not available so he pushes them away and then he is the one that receives an incident report from the teacher. The teacher does not set consistent rules for every child in the class. My son was told that he cannot play some of the games that the other kids can because he is too big and weights too much. When I attempted to raise concerns of class size to the onsite owner, she was defensive and accused me of making false accusations. When the onsite owner found out that I had spoke to 3 other mothers in the class about the class size, I was accused of slander, defamation, libel, and threatened with legal action. The onsite owner also emailed the entire school regarding my concerns and condemning my conversations with other parents with whom I am friends as unsolicited communications. I believe that communication between the school and parent is key to doing what is best for the child and that forming relationships with classmates outside of school is wonderful. We have moved on to another local school that supports equality, manageable class sizes, communication, and building relationships. It's sad, my son loves his friends there and Ms. Melissa, Director, and some of the teachers, Ms. Katie and Ms. Bridget are great.
