I needed to find a new hairstylist since I was new to the area. After looking at the reviews, I decided to try Yuri. I’m so glad that I did because I love the color and cut I received! She made every effort to work with my hectic schedule and made me feel comfortable while she did her magic. The products she used did not burn and smelled amazing. Thank you Yuri!

I first went to Yuri for a haircut, and swore I would not anyone else cut my hair again. I now went for a hair dye, and will also not let anyone else touch my hair again! Yuri is AMAZING. She turned my damaged rainbow hair into a masterpiece. She is also VERY knowledgeable about asian hair- which I didn't realize was a thing until recently. A million stars!

This was my first appointment with Yuri. The salon is beautiful and very clean. Yuri's assistant gave me an excellent, enjoyable shampoo and conditioner treatment, complete with a neck and shoulder massage. Yuri is an excellent stylist. I have short hair and not every stylist is able to or takes the time to shape the hair in the back so professionally and texturize the hair and feather the bang area so that hair is not just cut straight across. Yuri also took the time to explain the best way to style my hair considering my cowlicks and the whorls in my hair. (Not sure I am using the correct terms here.) In all I am so glad that I found Yuri and her beautiful salon and helper.

I needed to find a new hair salon and stylist after moving to Gainesville from Florida. When the stylist recommended to me was not available on short notice, I scrolled the internet, comments, reviews, and photos of salons and it was my wonderful good fortune to find Salon De Yuri. Atmosphere pleasant. No loud head pounding music. No irritating echo of loud conversations. Just excellent pampering by a stylist who knows her stuff. Best shampoo chair I've ever been in, too. Yuri cut and colored my hair to perfection. She is dedicated and detailed. I'd give Yuri 10 stars if I could. Oh, and her assistants are fabulous, too. The head and shoulder massage while at the shampoo bowl is heaven. Enjoy!

This is a great Salon with excellent customer service. The stylist and her assistant had great customer service and really makes their customers feel special. I also met another client who had great things to say about this place, this is one of the best salon I came across in Gainesville and would recommend this place. It's extremely clean, they are professional and completely money worth which is very reasonable.

I am so happy I found Yuri! Her salon is beautiful, clean, and relaxing. She has clients of all ages - from children to older adults - and does a fantastic job. She truly listens to what you want and will make suggestions based on her 17 years of experience in the industry. It's fun to watch her cut and style because she is so focused and her hands won't stop moving until everything is perfect. I can't recommend her enough! Her assistant, Rabia, also does the best wash. She is so gentle, kind, and just a wonderful person. She will go out of her way to make sure you feel welcome and comfortable.

I have been going to this salon for over 5 years and Ms Yuri is the best. I have short curly hair and her work always fits my personality. Both of my kids Visit Yuri as well. Definitely recommend.

I brought my daughter here for the first time last week to get a cut and highlights for her birthday. Yuri was amazing. She did a great job with my daughter's hair, and after a week, my daughter is still smiling at the results! The salon itself has a great atmosphere. It was incredibly welcoming and all of the stylists treated the clients more like family. I'm usually more of a Hair Cuttery girl because of the cost, but I am now willing to pay a little more for the type of service that was provided!Services: Haircut

This is the most amazing place I've been to in a long time with an artist owner. I called, desperately seeking a same day appointment (reasons abound) and Yuri said she would fit me in later. I'd have to wait a bit, but the fact a stylist, who posts pictures of pixie cuts and does artistic magic with hair and color, would fit me in meant I'd wait for hours, if needed. You walk in and it's filled with flowers and the most amazing interior design features. She designed it herself. Gorgeous. Already I can see the flair and creativity. Yuri was finishing up with a lady with longer hair and I could see the cut and motion of the hair looked fabulous. She was kind, direct, and attentive too. I've got super short hair and it has been a nightmare finding someone to cut it. Why? It's very very fine and I've never had dense hair. It's also stick straight. You screw up and it's obvious. Yuri wasn't phased by this, looked at pics and went right to cutting with expert scissor use, clippers, and thinning shears. She sprayed my dry hair- what really should always be done with super short hair- and her hands started flying. She moved the hair on my head to see how it reacted and cut expertly. She listened to requests and did it perfectly while also adding her own flair and style. Before cutting bangs and using razors, she sent me for a wash. Her assistant gives the most amazing wash, condition, and massage I've had anywhere. She's magic. And kind. Back to the chair to finish it all off. Unbelievable and fantastic. I'll go there forever and it's worth the drive! Thank you Yuri for this amazing experience and your kindness! Note: walk-ins are not normal, appointments preferred
