“Best Veterinarians you'll find! Animal Medical Services in Mt. Airy, NC is their sister office. It would take me days to write all of the good things I have to say about this clinic and the Veterinarians. I worked there many years ago until our son was born, so I've seen it from the inside as well. They are just THE BEST!! Whether you need large or small animal care, give them a try. You will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! Tyra Sharpe, Galax VA”

“I would like to say thank you to Hailey for a job well done! Back on March 25th 2025 at About 5:00 pm the wife called with bad news that one of our heifers had gone into labor and prolapsed and needed me home stat. We had never experienced this and wasn't prepared at all. By the time a friend gave me the phone number for Healing Springs it was going on 9:00 pm. Hailey arrived around 10pm and went to work. She finished stitching, medicating and giving me instructions for the days ahead and was gone by 12:30am. I followed the instructions which included administering one injection and removing the suture. She healed nicely with no complications and against all the negative comments from fellow farmers saying take her to the sale, I waited 5 months before turning her in with a bull and 5 days ago we were blessed with a new healthy calf and 0 problems! Thanks again !!”

“Unfortunately, it's not the first time I needed Galax Veterinary Clinic after hours. I've lived in Galax for 20 years and have needed them several times. They have always been there for me and my dogs. Absolutely loving, caring and professional. The most recent tragedy was my German Shepperd Paulo. Serious injury to his front leg which required a complete amputation. When you love your pet times can be very stressful and emotional. Special thank you to Dr. Ayers and Taylor for the care they provided for Paulo upon entry ...”
