Slowest and worst pharmacy I've ever been to. Seems like it takes them longer and longer to fill my meds every week. I work nights and end up having to wait up longer every week I go to get my meds because it's like they wait to start filling your prescription until you tell them your there waiting. I've waited 15 minutes later after getting the notification they have my prescription each week and takes them longer each week, by seemingly 15 minutes, as if they don't start on it until I come in the door. As soon as I find a place that takes my insurance switching and never coming back. They stand around in back and talk like its a fastfood restaurant.

This location is always a problem. They have lost my sons controlled substance perceptions not once not twice but 3 different times. They are always running behind. Not a few minutes but hrs or even days behind. The staff isn’t very nice most of the time either.

The app doesn't work so every time I've needed a refill I have to call and all you can do is leave a message.
Yesterday was the last straw, I wil be going elsewhere.
I have no small children in my home and have asked them several times to not put my meds in bottles with child proof caps. Yesterday I had hand surgery and of course they put my pain medication in a bottle with a child proof cap. If my son hadn't been here to open it, I would have just been here in pain with a damn bottle I couldn't open.

They won’t even answer the phone. You have to leave a voicemail. They will call you back in a hour. That’s bull crap

The CVS cashiers are always nice. The pharmacy staff have the worst attitudes and personalities. They're dry and rude. If you don't wanna to work with the public or hand contact with them, quit. It's like it's a burden you're there to pick up a prescription or have a question about your medicine. The red headed above middle aged woman pharmacist should not work with the public. Making facial expressions like a small child when you speak up about the attitudes you've witness towards yourself and others is embarrassing. I don't suggest using CVS of Gate City for the pharmacy. Broadwater drug is great switch if you can. If not, choose one in Kingsport.

I've never had this much trouble out of a pharmacy in my entire life. They have no desire to help you when it comes to your prescriptions. The pharmacist there now sends back every prescription that the doctor sends in just for her too "double check it" and it takes days to get it. I'm highly disappointed in this place!!!! We wouldn't be there if we didn't need medicine so get it together CVS!

Too much to type. Customer service is horrible. Every time I go. If I had a choice of where to get my prescriptions filled, ait would not be here.

Worst place ever. Wouldn't fill my prescription because it was out of state. I broke my tooth and had to find somewhere to get it removed so that was the first place. Refused to fill my prescription.

Worse pharmacy I been too even when I used to work in the pharmacy there was always someone working there we didn’t just disappear for an hour and have people wait. Also send texts that your prescription is ready so you go get it and they say it’s return to stock. Need to rethink how to run it

This is probably the worst pharmacy I’ve ever experienced. Having to argue with someone every single week to get a prescription filled is awful, and now I’m unable to get any filled period because of where the address is on the label. Now I’m completely out of medicines and no other pharmacy nearby accepts the insurance I have. I do have to say, that the man working on the last few times I came in was very patient and polite, and he did everything he could to help though he was unable to do much. I usually don’t review unless it’s positive, but I’ve been back and forth with this place so much I’m just over it. And now I’m going to be out of critical medicines until I find another pharmacy to maybe accept my insurance, if I even do. If I had a lot of money it wouldn’t matter much, but I don’t and I’m not able to pay out of pocket every time for it.

Staff is always helpful and patient (I have mobility challenges). They help me take advantage of my CarePass benefits, coupons, and even my Extra Help benefits through my insurance. They are always happy to answer my questions.
