Straight up lier!! I went there and spoke to the owner letting him know I lost reverse in my 4l80 transmission. He told me there was no easy way to fix it. I need a total rebuild. I learned he is so full of crap it is a common problem for the servo pin in the transmission to get worn down and they make a small kit to fix the problem. He's been doing this for many years and he is very well aware of the problem. But lied to me and told me I needed a total rebuild.

I broke down on I-81 on a Sunday evening. My transmission quit pulling. I got a hotel room at Kingsport TN and began looking for my best option. I called the transmission shops in the area. Soon as I called this transmission shop I knew this is where my car is going. They sent a flatbed wrecker to pick my car up. He ordered a transmission and it came in the next day. He pulled my transmission out so he could install the new one as soon as it arrived. If you find yourself broke down and reading the reviews, I’m telling you, this is the shop and owner you want to replace your transmission ! I can’t thank the owner enough. He is honest and will accommodate you anyway he can.

I had them build a transmission in a high HP 5.9 Cummins I had a few years ago and they were the third shop that opened it. That trucks been through 3 owners and has been turned up MORE since I owned it and the transmission they built for me is still perfectly fine..
looking forward to bringing them this 4l60 project I have next and hoping to get the same service and I bet I will.. cause they know their shit.. and unfortunately for the poors, quality costs money.
Sorry guys but seeing people crying about their cheap jasper garbage failing them as if that’s your fault set me off. This is one of few good shops left! Let’s treat them like damn gold!

I had a 1999 f250 superduty 4r100 rebuilt at his place after telling me everything internally would be replaced, because at the time the only problem I had was no forward gears were working, reverse only. It then went to his shop in April of 2024 to be redone was told it would take 3 days then took 2 months. After getting out it was leaking trans fluid so had to take back over and the mechanic there said it's not trans fluid but it was red and smelled like it. Whatever. I took home and it last for 1000 miles before needing the same repair. Need less to say it was there 7 times and 6 months with only 3000 miles put on it since April. Everytime is was there it would take 2 to 3 weeks for repairs that should have been done in April. Do not recommend. Paid 3000 dollars for the same issues that I started with.

Whoever answered the phone and talked to me, needs an attitude adjustment. All I did was ask a simple question about my transmission and he acted like I was bothering him. Nobody give any of your money to this disrespectful person. Be forewarned!

We have used Jerry for our auto repairs twice now. The first time was back in May. He was very professional and detailed in explaining what was needed and why. The timeframe he gave me for repairs was very accurate as well. I have taken my vehicle again and once again, he has been great to work with.
