This is my first gas company ive dealt with personally but i talked to others in the area during my search, the others had their weird complicated rules (have to have a gas furnace, water heater etc etc) so be careful and pay attention to the fine print.. I didnt want to deal with all that , I have gas logs ONLY and just needed a tank set and to call (but theres more, they have this awesome app!) when i needed more gas , thats exacty the cut and dried service you get with Ferrell Gas !
If you call their competitor(s) you'll know what im talkin about ..
And customer service is like calling a friend, theyre very nice and will talk ya thru concerns of a first time gas customer and there were plenty !

When we moved here, I had a 125 tank which needed to be filled. Upon calling around, FerrellGas could get to me the quickest. And I've stayed with them in the 5 years since.
I have a great Customer Service lady I deal with when I need propane. I get great pricing and deliveries are done quickly, within a few days, usually 3-7 days. None of the propane companies will deliver the day you order as they all seem to work certain regions on different days.

Horrible customer service. Waited 1 month for a refill when it was 5 degrees, and now waiting for 1 month to get the tanks picked up. Always get the run around from there “customer service app and people”. WILL NOT RECOMMEND!
If you can get the local guys number, it is a much better experience. Willing to go out of his way and help however is needed.

Exactly like another recent review- I ordered at 25% remaining. It took OVER a month. 8 phone calls. I never got a higher up to contact me to explain why, even though I asked- nicely- every time. The systems they have in place look nice, like internet access but none of it works as it should. The people on the phone are pleasant, but I'm not trying to make friends, just trying to buy a product. The delivery was good, but really- a MONTH with no decent explanation!

I have been a customer for going on 5 years now and only had one issue before and on my last fill-up. I had requested and they supposedly added it to the work orders that they are not to pull the over weight truck on my concrete driveway when servicing my tank. Well it occurred again. The next new issue was that I had placed an ordered about 3 weeks in advance to fill my tank which they put me on the schedule for service and on the day of service they remotely called and said it would be another 3 to five days before they could get to me. After numerous calls and not getting no reasonable responses they showed up on the 3 day.

Order early and have a backup plan is my advice. I've been a customer for years and never had complaints until now. Several weeks ago, I ordered a refill when my tank level dropped to 20%, just as had been recommended. I was alerted that the refill may take as long as two weeks. After the two weeks had passed, I get a courtesy call that delivery would be made within five (more) days. That didn't happen. Afterwards I get another courtesy call that delivery would be made within five (more) days. That didn't happen. Finally, I ran completely out of gas. I tried contacting both the customer service line and the customer service chat to find out how much longer it would be. I was told by three different customer service reps over two days that they would find out a delivery timetable and call me back. I never received a return call. Finally delivery was made unannounced. Lesson learned - order your refill much sooner than you need it and have an alternate means of heat as they have proven to be unreliable and unresponsive through this last ordeal.

Moved here in 2020 and there was already a FerrellGas tank at the house so we just called them for service instead of looking around and I have regretted it ever since. For four years we have said hey we think there’s a leak (on the equipment that they charge annually to use) and they say they checked and there’s not, but finally we had to have the septic serviced and even a man thats around human waste all day said ‘That propane smell is strong, do you have a leak?’ so now I am convinced it’s not just my imagination. Also, getting a call to say delivery will be within the next 3 days and waiting TWO WEEKS without any explanation or anything is beyond rude.
It is definitely time to find a new supplier for propane.

Shane at Ferrellgas is absolutely amazing! From start to finish, he made the process of installing my tank smooth and stress-free. He was incredibly kind, respectful, and professional throughout the entire installation.
Not only is Shane great at his job, but he also has a way with animals—my dogs absolutely adored him! It’s clear he genuinely cares about his customers, always being responsive and going above and beyond to ensure everything is done right.
If you’re looking for top-notch service and someone who truly puts the customer first, Shane and Ferrellgas are the way to go. Highly recommend!
