I was fortunate enough to get Jay T. on the phone, and he was incredibly helpful in guiding me through the application process. He even gave me his direct number so I could call him back if an important call I was waiting for came through—which it did.
CapCenter is very lucky to have someone like Jay working at their company. This will be my third loan with them, and I have always had a positive experience, but Jay truly went above and beyond. He gave me a sense of calm and reassurance during a very difficult time in my life while navigating the demands of a divorce.
Great company to work with!!!!!

Absolutely horrible experience. 0/10 and definitely will not be working with this group again. Not only has our closing consultant dropped this ball so badly with our refinance but when we escalated were told “sorry it’s too late tonight to have anyone speak to you”. Umm, excuse me?? The past month has been amongst the most stressful that my husband and I have ever experienced. CapCenter started off strong with somebody who absolutely knew what he was doing, and when they transferred us to the consultant, everything started to go wrong. Getting our closing disclosure was an absolute mess. Communication another absolute mess. Imagine not knowing if you were going to close the day of till just an hour before someone shows up at your house with your closing disclosures. The notary had to print the documents from his truck because the communication from cap center was absolutely horrible, so much so that he ENCOURAGED us to give feedback because he too was fed up. Then to top it off, we never received any communication as to whether or not our loan was good to go, even after signing and closing! 9 days later, not only did CapCenter not communicate any issues with us, but apparently we owe another $3k and they sent us paperwork with the wrong name - so so so unprofessional and this FROM THEIR QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER. YOU LITERALLY CANNOT MAKE THIS UP. So now we are nine days post closure with no resolution, no one on their senior management team willing to speak with us because it’s after hours and “late”, and no idea what our next steps are. We even held off writing a review until we could come to a resolution, but given their senior manager doesn’t have time to address his own staff’s issues and his own staff dropping the ball so embarrassingly here we are…

We have refinanced with them twice and now using them on a new home loan. They are always professional, quick and you can’t beat their fees…or lack of fees. I would highly recommend them.

They have a dedicated team are available 7 days a week. They have various mortgage options with better rates. They are also quick and fast with great services. We got approved and able to close our home purchase within a month.

We have used CapOne twice not. Once for a finance and second for a refinance and both times it was pleasure to work with the people at CapOne. They helped with all the paperwork and everything went fine.We would recommend them for any Mortgage Assistance. The pie was Great too.

1. The first mortgage loan officer was unresponsive and then left the company so left me hanging.
2. Next loan officer was argumentative and lacked guidance in explaining to me how to use the online customer portal and where I was in the process of the loan and mortgage rates.
3. The customer service portal is not intuitive and lacks easy insightful navigation for users. That coupled with the lack of guidance on how to use from my mortgage loan officers equated to me being highly frustrated with Cap Center.
4. Your location out in the far western part of Henrico is an inconvenience for people living in the east/southside of Richmond.
5. Upon closing it would have been nice to have been told to bring my bank account information so the proceeds leftover from the buy and sell of my houses could have gone directly to my bank account. I was not given this information, I was told I could have it mailed, or I can pick it up. When I went to sign the form for that transaction I read, I could have brought my checking account information. Now I have to take another 90 minutes of my day to drive out to Cap Center to pick up the check that still has not been issued to me or communicated as to when it will be available.
6. The LACK of communication by Cap Center is unbelievable, disappointing and creates an enormous amount of increased stress for their clients.

We have bought or refinanced at least 4 times with CapCenter, always at a great price and with the best customer service. We appreciated the free Thanksgiving pie, too, so nice and neighborly.

I use cap Center to do two no cost refinances when interest rates were low. I recommend them to everybody I can. They do a fantastic job!
