Complete Automotive service department to the rescue again!! Kevin and his crew were persistent in fixing my older Acura — they called several places searching for parts for an unusual problem, got the necessary parts for a reasonable amount, and completed all repairs and an inspection before closing on a Friday night. They deserve a raise for all their excellent work!!

Took my care in for a flat tire and they were so professional, that I took my car back to complete for an oil change. Very professional and friendly staff from the moment I walked into the door until the moment I left - Jasmine and Mike were very helpful at the front desk!!!!! Jasmine even helped take off my old oil change sticker before I left! My seat was never moved when they moved my car to the shop! HUGE PLUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And their was no burning oil smell on the exhaust manifold or engine block after my oil change!!! HUGE HUGE PLUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing shop, I think I have used them for almost a decade on multiple cars. They do quality work while being honest and reliable. I have never had any issues with these guys, and I love that they are Military Veteran friendly.

The owners are great and have been good over the last few years to my wife and I.....todays call with one of their service reps has changed my mind. I simply tried to have a discussion about why it cost so much for a front airbag sensor to be installed. The answer I got was that the part cost so much from VW....then the representative mentioned the cost of the part later in the conversation and that seemed more reasonable than the labor cost. So again quoting him, I asked, gee you said all of the cost was because of the part and not the labor, can you explain why the labor cost is so high at approximately four hours to just put in the sensor? Rather than take any time to explain this, he began mumbling under his breath as if this was too much of an imposition for him and I said gee you shouldn't be talking to people this way it seems like you just want your money and then just leave you alone with all this......then he blasted me and hung up. I tried to call back and ask for Ruth, the owner, and the same person answered and didn't allow me to speak with her saying 'she doesn't handle the day to day operations any longer and we don't want your abuse, come get your car!' WOW....this guy needs to go to Dale Carnegie for customer service training or at least not deal with anyone on behalf of this group any longer. I'm sorry Ruth, but wouldn't have made these comments here if I knew how else to get in touch with you.......

Absolutely the best place to get your vehicles serviced. Have been using for over three years and I've never been disappointed. It's extremely clean, efficient and communicative. The desk lady Jasmine is sweet, kind, and I was happy that she was there cause she explains things in a way that makes sense. The services are affordable, fast, and done correctly. If for some reason there's a big issue and I can't afford it, they've got financing options that make it easy in case you're in a pickle. If you're having a big service done and it takes some time they have multiple rooms for kids and adults to sit and relax while they wait. They offer free refreshments like coffee, hot cocoa, and tea. They also have two vending machines that are constantly stocked; one for yummy snacks and one for drinks. This shop has the nicest staff that communicate every step so you're aware of the problems, process, and financial status of the issues. They have hardworking, honest mechanics that tell you how it is and don't try to upsell! They have great hospitality and always treat you like one of their own. 10/10 would recommend. Again, I've been going for years and nothing beats the complete automotive way. Thanks!!

Went there for stste inspection and was told that the front driver side turn light is glowing white and it should be amber. They charged $60 labor charge for changing a light which is of $5. I couldn't verify it since I was in a rush for my office. Also, they took 2 hours to change the light. I won't recommend them at least for state inspection.

Highly recommend Complete automotive of Richmond. They provide great service at a good rate. Wait times can be lengthy, but that is expected at a very busy shop. They are busy for a reason! Ask for Kevin or Jonathan, they are my go-to service writers!

My friend and I were on our way to Roanoke from Virginia Beach. While driving down the highway a loud clanking and grating sound started out of nowhere. We moved onto the shoulder and my friend got out to check the cars' undercarriage she could see something hanging down but couldn't really tell what it was. There was no oil can light, no check engine or danger the car will explode lights on, so she carefully merged with traffic while I Googled "mechanics near me" (by the by it was 5:20pm on a Friday we weren't very hopeful.) Found an AutoZone in the next exit and there we were directed to Complete Automotive of Richmond. We made it there with minimum racket and were happy to see they were still open. I don't know precisely who helped us (maybe Mr. Kevin McKinnon) but every single person was kind and helpful. We explained the issue and immediately the vehicle was pulled into a bay and up the car lift. We were invited to sit and wait. During that time I noticed that on the 2nd floor of the building there is a full gym, curiosity got the better of me and I asked one of the employees and he confirmed it is for all the employees at no added cost to them (highly impressed). Finally got the verdict the skid pan had done its job and "died a soldiers death" to save the undercarriage of damage. We were promptly given the keys and sent on our way no charge. To say that I am impressed with the service is an understatement. Never made us (2 women) feel dumb nor were we taken advantage of. If I could give them a higher score I would. Complete Automotive of Richmond saved the day.

This place is terrible. If you question anything you’re told by the staff they get a serious attitude, and become very condescending. After being told 1 price, once the work was done they quoted me 500 over what was talked about. They gave no options, essentially they said pay or we’ll take out the part we replaced - but also they threw out the old part. So pay, or your car won’t work. After getting my car back, there were several chips in my windshield. I’ll never suggest this place to anyone. If you HAVE to go here, take pictures of your car when you drop it off, because they will damage it.

Excellent service on my two recent inspections! I recently took two cars of mine in for inspections with no appointment. They had both ready by the end the day and didn’t nitpick pointless things like some places do.They even were nice enough to correct a light bulb I had installed incorrectly that would have otherwise caused me to fail.Super impressed with these folks. I do all my own car work but they will get all my tire and alignment work for here on out!

We initially took our car to a dealership to have it looked at and they gave us a total for the repair that seemed high. We called Complete automotive for a second opinion and they graciously looked over our vehicle and let’s just say they saved us a ton of money! They’ve earned all of our future business by operating with honesty and integrity. Highly recommended. Thank you to the staff there from front to back they do things the right way!

I would not recommend taking your vehicle here, I dropped my car for inspection, they failed due to front right and rear left turn signals, wipers then stated the they steering rack assembly needs to be replaced due to leaking. I asked for them to break down crazy high labor (145 hr) and unable to really do so. I understand the counter guys don't always know what's going on asked to talk to the service manager and the first thing this guy says to me is to go look under the hood. Great way to speak to a paying customer, The worst part is that less than 5 mins after picking up the car I test and wouldn't you guess that all my lights and signals work absolute fine. So when they lie about that they cant be trusted. DO NOT GO HERE THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE. Reported to BBB and State police.

Brought my older Hyundai Santa Fe in for state inspection and to have a couple of other issue investigated. Suspension knock in front end, occasional burnt oil smell and slow leak in one tire. Jasmin jumped through hoops to work with an out of state tire road hazard policy on the tire to save me some money. Resolved the other issues with a fair quote for parts and labor. Veterans should ask about a discount which they were happy to apply to the total bill. A very positive experience.

Scam! I took my car here for an inspection and they lied saying there was a broken control arm. I took it to another store and they passed it right away. I later took my car for an alignment to firestone and they said the control arms were fine.The manager Sunshine (if that's his real name) told me to buzz off and that the mechanics who checked my car don't know anything because they aren't certified.
