Hi, my name is Jack. I recently moved to the area from California, and I decided to visit Great Clips for a haircut, as I've had good experiences at other locations in the past. I usually prefer a dry cut, so I made that request right away.
Unfortunately, my experience this time was quite different. The stylist started off by asking me why I wanted a dry cut, and I explained it was simply my preference. She mentioned that cutting wet hair is easier, but I reiterated my request. After a moment of hesitation and a less-than-enthusiastic expression, she began the cut.
I had a bit of gel in my hair, and she seemed frustrated, asking what was in it. When I told her, she commented that it was affecting her comb. Throughout the appointment, her demeanor remained sour, which was surprising given my past experiences.
Overall, this was not the welcoming and enjoyable experience I was hoping for. I recently visited Sports Clips, where the staff was much more accommodating and friendly. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this Great Clips based on my experience.

Sign says it opens at 9am.. it doesn’t… at 930.. still not open… at 10 3 people ahead of me, lol.. apparently they open at 945 with no check in online available before 945….

Do NOT take your child here. We walked in for a haircut for my 2 year old. It was his 2nd haircut so he was nervous. He was by no means unmanageable though. The stylist who was originally going to cut his hair was incredibly impatient and had a terrible attitude from when we first walked in. I suggested my son sit in my lap and she said, “Then I’m going to get somebody else because I don’t do the whole kid sitting in a parent’s lap thing” and walked away.
I have to give credit where credits due, though (the reason I gave 2 stars). The stylist who came out was so sweet and patient towards my son. He immediately warmed up and she did a fantastic job on his hair. We will not, however, be going back due to how rude the first stylist was.

I recently visited Great Clips for a haircut and requested layers, but unfortunately, the result was closer to a blunt cut. I tried to explain the style I was hoping for, but the stylist seemed a bit dismissive and responded with, “I know how to cut your hair, I’ve been doing this for 40 years.” I also asked for curtain bangs, but they turned out short and straight instead. Overall, I left quite disappointed with the service and felt that my expectations weren’t met, making the experience feel like a waste of money.

Oh my gosh it was so wonderful to see Lorraine after all these years I had not seen Lorraine since 2009 I believe it was. But I found out that she was cutting hair at Great Clips and I decided I was going to come because she knows how to cut hair she's been doing it for over 50 years she said. And I really needed somebody that knew what they were doing. Thank you Lorraine for the great cut you gave me today. I absolutely love it I'll see you in about 5 weeks. Also I would like to thank the young man that checked me in when I got there thank you young man for the great customer service that you gave me. I'll definitely recommend this Great Clips to anyone. Thanks again Lorraine see you soon

I was visting from out of state waited about 25-30 mins to get my sons hair cut I did see a stylist but I am guessing she didn’t wanna cut my 4 yr old son hair …. We got seated to get his hair cut now my child just don’t like the way the hair feels on him when he gets his hair cut I did let the lady no he dose have special needs he has hearing loss n epilepsy so his meds to set him off sometimes he did say ooh that hurts meaning he didn’t like the hair on him and she started to make fun of him telling him if u cry I will make fun of you and also said he is so dramatic the hair cut cost $20 which is ok but I left no tip but here is my tip for you don’t make fun of kids you know nothing about this is why we only cut his hair at a salon we no in Texas but he did need a hair cut it’s sad when you can’t trust people not to hurt you or your child’s feelings if I could give zero stars I would reading the reviews now I seen a lot of ppl saying the same thing I am

RUN. If I could rate a 0 I would. Husband went in for the SIMPLEST cut. Dude that checked us in was super nice, the guy that cut my husbands hair didn't speak one word... and it was clear he was brand new to cutting hair. -- WHICH WOULD BE FINE IF I THOUGHT FOR A SECOND HE WENT TO COSMETOLOGY SCHOOL!!!!! My husband wanted a buzz on the sides & to lose about 2inches on the top & some layers.... he got NO LAYERS, he got an UNEVEN MESS, & HE CUT OFF A PORTION WITH OF HIS HAIR COMPLETELY!?!?!? My husband left the building COVERED in hair bc for some reason this guy decided he was done and started to pull off the apron but then started cutting again AFTER the apron was off???? We're both so angry It ain't even funny. Unfortunately my husband didn't say anything in the moment bc he just wanted to get tf OUT of there. But this is 100% unacceptable, I mean come on. I went to Cosmo school 8 years ago & didn't graduate but still cut his hair better than this. And the only reason I didn't was bc of time. Other wise I would've. But now i get to go home & fix this train wreck. Thank GOD his hair grows back fast bc this is insane.

So I dread having my hair cut and generally only go once a year or so. Well, Nathalie had me laughing the whole time she cut my 12" (to donate to Wigs for Kids). She did a great job, too! ❤️
