They did several years of my taxes because I was behind. Even though my address was on every document I gave them they spelled my address wrong. I have had to go to another firm to fix this issue. They did not stand behind their work and would not help me fix it. None of my returns were sent to me from the state or federal.

Save yourself the time, money, and trouble. The “tax professional” that did my taxes at this location last year googled the questions I had in real time, consulted stack exchange, and still wasn’t able to provide satisfactory answers. I had worked in 2 different states, and he ended up sending the wrong W2s to the wrong states which took a long time to sort out. And I had to sort this all out myself because he was completely unresponsive (I’ve been emailing every couple months for a year now). This would be terrible customer service in its own, but I even paid extra to get continued follow-up support should I need it moving forward. Had to call several times to get a manager on the phone who promised to follow up and then ghosted me. Edit: Sid was the individual assigned to my case. Now queue the generic hr block response thanking me for valuable feedback, assuring me they are trying to make my life easier, and diverting me to a 800 number.

Terrible communication. Return not filed on time. Had to go to the office to get any contact. Ending up filing late with penalties and interest. Used Steve Richardson for several years. Always great service. RIP, Steve.

I cannot believe I even thought getting my taxes done here was a good idea. I personally like to be treated like a human and not like another number. I walked in slightly early for my appointment with Heidi. Heidi hadn’t arrived yet and I was fine with waiting but Sid insisted I handed him my folder with my information. It started with him grabbing my folder of paperwork and then flipping through my papers at the front desk like I don’t matter and my privacy isn’t important. I told him last year had a lot of special occurrences and that I needed help filing because I was scared to file myself. I said I received temporary unemployment and he was like ‘where, where is it!’ ℹ show him, while we are still at the front desk. At this point I’m already uncomfortable and I’m wishing I would have just stayed with turbo tax. So he proceeds to take me back to the cubicle and then he doesn’t say hello, ask me anything personal he just starts telling me $139 student, plus $30, plus $30, plus whatever. I’m like ‘Um sir you have not even addressed me, your not Heidi, and you keep being painfully busy and rushed energy for someone who automatically wants to take $200 from me. I am not against paying for a service, I am thankful for a service but with how easy self taxes are done do you really want to create this type of environment for the small group of people who still trust you all with their paperwork? I’m so put off. I asked Sid for my folder back and said I’m just going to do it through turbo tax because at least Google can explain nicer and more professionally how to do something instead of him. I’m sort of devastated by this interaction and how uncomfortable the situation was. I wish I could of had a real person do my taxes. I wish I could have even met Heidi but that was not my experience at all. Good luck to others to try and go here. I don’t recommend.

Steve Richardson has been the best experience for us and the reason we continue to use Block. He provides excellent and sound advice, and is an absolute pleasure to work with. He is thorough and articulate. We trust him and feel as if he family.
