Purchased a vehicle from this location in early 2020. They promised they would replace the timing belt, and ac compressor upon purchase. Two/Three years later and only 15,000 miles driven and the timing belt blows. They NEVER changed the timing belt and installed the ac compressor incorrectly. And as a result the engine is now totaled. DO NOT TRUST THE WORK THEY DO! If you are planning on purchasing a used vehicle from northbrook please for the love of god take it to a trusted mechanic.

Purchased an Acura RDX recently. Beautiful car. Well detailed. Upon inspection by my mechanic there were some things that needed to be done and Northbrook went out of their way to address…after the purchase! Completely impressed and satisfied with their service.

Bought a 2005 Corvette from them. Felt down to earth and not trying to sell you the car. When I bought it, they said they would get it another key and fix the window switch. Within a week both were fixed AFTER buying the car.Things to note:- NO financing through them- NO warranty, could be a deal breaker, will update if anything happens to the car soonGood and friendly dealer, would buy from them again

Poor customer service. I went in twice to test drive a car and they told me it was past the time they allow test drives, yet they were still open. I let it go the first time b/c it was 15 minutes before they closed. (5:45) I went back a few days later and got there at 5:30 and he told me the cut off was 30 minutes before closing and said I got there after 5:30. (not true) He didn't even offer to make an appointment with me or assist with trying to find a time to test drive it. He just looked at me with this blank stare. Also, the outside of the cars look nice on the website, but the insides are filthy. I sat in more than one. I do not recommend.

I purchased a 2011 Toyota 4Runner from NorthBrook and couldn't be happier! Amazing vehicle at an amazing/unbeatable nationwide price. Steve was great to work with a Duke was very honest on condition of vehicle. highly recommend them as you will get an honest enjoyable experience. They even did something I wouldn't have expected. When I pulled up to the dealership the 4Runner was being prepped for delivery and the "lot attendant" was changing out the rear tail light assembly. When I asked him why he was doing that he stated while he was cleaning the car to get ready for pickup he noticed a hairline crack in the housing and they didn't want me to take it like that so they replaced the whole housing. I will tell you I would have never have seen that when I inspected the vehicle and for them to take the time to replace it says something about there integrating and ultimately how they value and treat there customers. Ill be back in a few years for an MDX Steve for the misses!

My brother-in-law bought a ram work truck fuel pump went out after a week. Steve and the crew ended up ordering the part and replacing it running great now nice to know they stood behind their product definitely would buy another car from them again thank you Steve.Mark Merlin

Drove up from Florida and our tires all were low due to drop in temps. We tried about 5 gas stations and every single air pump was broken! The kind people at Northbrook filled us up and had us on the road in like 2 minutes. Thank You!!

WORST DEALERSHIP EVER!!!!!!!!! I was going to fly there to buy a $15k truck and I asked them to please text me a video just going around the truck, starting it, and showing the underside of it and they told me "They don't offer those services" then said they have no manager there to speak to. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!

I came the day before gentleman that was there very willing to help the next day dealt with someone else for a Honda crv and he was not willing to work me like the last guy and lied about state laws taxes, etc. I was prepared for 500 less but wouldn't work with me mind you it's a 2007

Steve and the rest of the staff took the pain out of car shopping. They are so patient, kind, and understanding. Customer service is outstanding!I ended up purchasing a 2011 Toyota Rav4. Beforehand, they let me take it to a local mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection. HIGHLY recommend doing this to any car buyer. The car was in great condition and priced fairly.This was my first time buying a car on my own, and Steve walked me through every step. He had everything ready for me when I picked up the car, which made closing the deal super easy. I would 10/10 recommend Northbrook Auto Sales to anyone in the market for a used car. Shady biz. I have cash in hand, to purchase the pretty FJ Cruiser on their lot. I asked for pictures of the undercarriage, to verify there's no rust, and all of a sudden I can't seem to get a call back, or reply to my text messages. BUYER BEWARE!

I test drove a truck. After standing in the lobby for an extended amount of time while the sales guy was on the phone, I finally made an offer on a vehicle in writing and left. There has been no contact one way or the other. Not even a call back about it…yes/no…nothing. I guess they don’t need anyone’s business? Strange…

Check engine light came on after 2 weeks of purchasing. Multiple mechanics and over a thousand dollars later and the verdict is to cut my losses and walk away. Car could explode and catch fire at any moment. Parts in the car were literally melting. Mechanic said it seemed very likely that the car had the codes reset and was sold knowing it had issues.Go here if you're okay supporting a company that's okay with risking other's health and safety for a quick buck. ?
